Power Electronics: Converters Applications and Design, Media Enhanced, 3ed Paperback – 1 January 2007

Its a really great book for someone passionate about Electric Vehicles. It isn't a beginner book, as it covers alot of theory as such for the indian audience, but its a great book for someone who has done a first course on power electronics or controls. This book contains a great amount of detail on device physics, converter control and its design and also the practical considerations you need while designing any power electronic converter. Would surely suggest this to anyone who wants a practical know-how of designing DC-DC converters

The way everything explained in this book is very Lucent way. This is not a book it's a research paper. But beginner should avoid this. Because with zero knowledge about PE if one study this book the book will become a nightmare for him/her. But if you have knowledge about PE you will enjoy while reading and feel all the technical terms by your heart. Here I am attaching some photocopies of SPWM you can't get this much of detailed analysis in Any book.

Some pages are not clear.

Thsi book is very good for concepts but the problems lies in that part that this book has not enough problems, it has answer to those problems. Moreover solved examples are very limited in this book.

good in condition allmost new (i think it never used befor) .bought in RS 350 + 100(deleivery charge). package contain 1book + cd also.this book must for all ece.

Ned Mohan is one of the leading men in Power electronics. The book has all the meterials to be considered as one of the best books in the field. But one has to be patient and curious enough to learn from this book.
