HB Soft 2 Putter (Model 11)

Great putter, the grip is awesome, weight is perfect. Feels like a zero tourque putter for sure. Won’t fix a bad stroke, but very solid. Worth every penny

This is pretty nice looking unit. Also my first center shafted puttr. Was looking for speed control so I wanted a non insert face. Wanted a decent alignment "picture" with a longish center line. This checked all the boxes at a reasonable price. The putter feels a little harsh on all but perfectly centered strikes. However it rolls the ball nearly the exactl same distance !! The grip is really nice. I assumed I would be replacing it right away but was wrong. good purchase - glad i pulled the trigger

Same feel as the Scotty’s or Bettinardis but at a fraction of the price. Great performance. Sunk three long putts today. Hefty feel. Super solid and lots of mass, really sturdy feel. Three alignment lines are amazing for aim. Grip is one of the best feeling grips on the market, super underrated. Love the center shaft. Wish the headcover had magnets not Velcro.

One round with this Cleveland gem of a putter and I am immediately placing it in my permanent bag above my Scotty Cameron Newport 2 that I’ve played for almost 20 years. Today I made six long range putts with this putter that I probably would have missed otherwise. The reason I think is the pure face balance and the heavier putter weight that allows the clubhead to arc perfectly—and easily and repeatably—through the hitting zone. I’m a good green reader and it just gives me so much confidence now that when I read the line and speed I feel like I am going to make the putt! It’s such a great feeling! My playing partner just couldn’t stop grinning in disbelief at all the putts I was making. I have no idea how a $139 putter is better than a $400 Scotty but it is. Before I bought it I read the favorable reviews so let me just add mine to the mix. This putter is a steal! It is a professional putter that you will not regret putting in your bag. Cheers.

I'm in for a 4.5 on this one. I put pretty consistently and carry a 9.1 index. I was having problems keeping my strike square 90 degrees down my line which is always my preferred strike regardless of the break. This putter helped and I can reliably swap it in the bag when desired with consistent results. However, having putted with mostly Taylor Made soft inserts most of my golf career, the feel off this face is dramatically different for obvious reasons, as is the sound. Sometimes it's just a matter of personal preference for this reason. Otherwise, the balance preventing twist on this I would say is above average.

This is my second putter in about 8 months. My current putter is a Spider putter ($250) and i am very happy with it, BUT, I really wanted to try a centerline shaft putter and my research and a recommendation from a friend led me to the Cleveland HB Soft #2 11C ($147). I got it Friday and putted with it in a 2 man scramble on Saturday. I have a putting green at my house so I practiced with it for about 30 mins Friday night at about 4 feet distance going 360 degrees around the hole. I hit about 85%. If you've seen me putt, that's a great percentage :).Saturday I hit 3 putts over 15 feet, one of 25 feet. My feel for the putter was really good. The line on the putter and the straight shaft makes for a true line that was easy for me to follow and when I missed I could see why.I will also say the milled face gives you greater control and helps makes the misses much smaller.I highly recommend this putter!
