Smart looking and light weight
Looking to replace an old somewhat heavy trench for travel cross seasons. I wanted something longer and smart looking. I got the XL olive green with blue striped lining; I am 5'8" and weight 150 and is fits perfectly i.e. roomy enough to layer underneath since it will be my travel coat late summer and into late fall. I wish it were longer but it does hit mid thigh. Love the color and the striped trim and the feel.Sleeves are long which is great; often this is an area that is skimped on. The waist cinch allows a fitted look which I like; I wish the drawstrings were inside rather than dangling outside. I wish there was a secure inside pocket and the outer pockets are smaller than I would like, but they are still useful. I particularly like that the hood has a drawstring to cinch it up and the jacket has snaps as well as a zipper. I don't like to zip up in warm weather rain -- this will be great. The quality seems quite good and the look is smart.I have not worn it in the rain but given other's reviews I will probably spray it with water proofing before I head for Paris this fall as I want good rain protection. I always spray my boots and coat before travel.SOOO now I have been wearing this for a month on my European trip -- it has been terrific EXCEPT the hood is so poorly designed as to be useless. Unless you tuck the front into the back which then falls down constantly anyway, the hood hangs in front of your eyes so it is impossible to wear it as designed. This is a huge design flaw. I will have to fold and tack it back into the hood but I am sure sewing it will tear the lining. A generally great coat for travel -- lightweight, snaps mean you don't have to zip it but that hood is ridiculous.

Good Rain Jacket
This jacket fit as described, was a good value, is very waterproof, lightweight and looks cute! I wore it abroad during rainy season and was able to stay warm and dry. I appreciated that it was longer than a traditional jacket to keep my upper legs dry.

Almost close to what I expected.
I love the color. I wanted a rain coat that went to my knees and this is 3” too short. I turned up the cuffs and the sleeves are still too long. I have to think about keeping or returning it. It appears well made and not too heavy. Models should be wearing dress when modeling so the length can be seen.

Nice style
Nice color and the fabric is nice. Fits well. Nice and casual but dressy enough for church.

You need to get this raincoat!
My raincoat just arrived and I've checked it for flaws, tried it on and it's prefect. I wanted to get a different color but decided to get the navy because the coat description recommended that it should not be machine washed, spot cleaning only. It's not going to fall apart in a machine wash, but the finish will be compromised and become less rain resistant. Most all fabrics will be less resistant to soiling after machine washing, so no points against the raincoat for that.It is well made, meaning attention to structure, hanging threads and design details are pristine. The zipper is smooth gliding, the snaps are well fitted and the pull twine in the hood and waist are nicely finished. The coat is light weight and can easily be folded small enough for tight spaces in a purse or luggage. It's such a pretty coat that I've decided to replace my black umbrella with a navy umbrella to match it. Why not finish the look, right? I wanted a raincoat that will look nice with a dress or a suit as well as the longer length to protect my better wardrobe. This is the ideal raincoat for my purposes.I've been looking at this raincoat for almost a year, but I couldn't justify the expense when I have another raincoat. My other raincoat is a version of plastic (?), insulated, heavy, short and fine for winter. As a former fashionista, I'm trying to avoid wardrobe excess, but I still want to look nice and buy smarter. When this raincoat went on Prime sale, I hit the 'buy now' immediately. This raincoat is an excellent decision.

Very comfortable and stylish
A wonderful rain jacket. Very comfortable, roomy enough to wear with a sweater if needed for extra warmth.

Sizing/Arm length Issues but Still Decent
This jacket looked like the advertisement so that was great. However, just some things to note when it comes to sizing. I'm about 5' 10" and 155lbs and ordered the khaki medium. For those of you that are either tall, long armed, or wide shouldered this may fit uncomfortably. The sleeve connection at the shoulder is not given a lot of allowance for movement so when you lift your arm up the shoulder is tight and sleeve will be very short. Even with my arm down and the cuff not rolled up it still seemed a bit short. If that won't bother you then this is a decent jacket. The length of the body was fine, just not the sleeves. In the images you can see that if I roll the cuff up to actually show the pattern it's about 5" too short. Also, the hood has an added little piece to the front which I assume is to give you a bit of extra coverage, but it is not stiff in any way and just hangs over your eyes and blocks your vision. As for the waterproofing, it does bead up and roll off when put under the tap, but if you rub it a bit it will soak through, so I figure with light raindrops that don't roll off and the movement of walking/things rubbing against the fabric some water may soak through. Lastly, note that the entire jacket is made from a thin polyester material, including the lining. In the light Khaki color the striped pattern can be a little see through. You can really only see it in certain lights/angles or if the fabric is pulled tight. I know I mentioned quite a few things that were off, but if this jacket fits you right I'm sure you'll like it. It just didn't happen to fit me.If you do have the same issue, I found that I liked the "Rain Coat for Women Waterproof with Hood Lightweight Women's Rain Jacket Outdoor Trench Windbreaker Long Raincoats" by Adiwiid in medium.
