This cattle prod works great for moving my cattle. It's got a hefty kick that gets there attention at first blush- but it is not a stun gun- no arc'ing sparks etc... Its a serious ranching tool.It has a one/off switch in addition to the trigger--- the on/off switch is a great idea for some one like me who has accidentily jolted themselves with other cattle prod's (like when placing them into my jean's pockets.)A neat unsung feature is it makes an audible high pitched buzz when activated. The cattle learn very fast what that means and move along quickly without any need to actually shock them-- a quick tap of the trigger is all that is necessary !

The product came in a timely manner. It was securely packaged and not wasteful. I bought it for my dad, but even I carry it around sometimes. It's simple and easy to get the hang of, no need for a manual. The discharge prevention work wonders, I can now carry it on me and not worry about zapping myself. So far I've only had to use it a couple times so as to save our stall's inner wall. It has been great because we didn't want to use very harsh methods. Now simply turn it on and the buzzing is enough to calm the our particularly irreverent mare down let the other animals rest. It even has a great durable grip, I'm pleased.

Perfect for breaking up squabbles with large dogs that can hurt each other fast. No lasting damage. And the audible beeps causes a learned response. It stings. Tried it on myself before my animals so if you are needing it for other things. It will wake you up for sure. Will buy again.

I needed something to discourage our 120 lb potbelly pig from biting and trying to run us over every time we went out to feed. This did the job! I like that it has to be turned on and then a button pushed to make it work, because it is harder for me to use it by mistake. It is a great size so easily slips into my back pocket and the wrist strap allows for quick access while having both hands free.Most of all I like that it keeps our pig at a polite distance while I put his food down and clean out his pen. Nothing else I tried with him seemed to work, but this does not hurt him and works great! It is already becoming a good visual deterrent as well.

I love the portability of this prod, fits easily into my back pocket. I like the safety switch that it hasso it isn't easy to accidentally set it off. I have a 60lb pitbulland I was afraid to take her for a walk because other dogs like tolunge at her. There are frequently people that walk their dogoff-leash at the park I normally go to and now I know I have somethingreliable with me to keep her safe.

I need mfg. To mail me the User Manual. They emailed it to me but my computer does not recognize the app of what was sent. I cannot use it unless I read directions. I know it seems simple to use but important to read directions. These printed directions should have come with the device. What about people who may be senior citizens who may not have access to internet. I think mfg would want to Avoid any Lawsuit's because of lack of User Manual ...not caring how to handle device etc.

We own several animals on our farm and some can be difficult to control especially our herd of cattle. I really like this prod it’s super easy to use, very effective on helping us control our livestock and I like how it has enough punch to teach a lesson and not enough to cause any discomfort or injuries. The safety switch for turning it off or on was extremely helpful so I don’t have any surprises. If you have any livestock that you need to control then this handy prodder is a must have.

1/22/23 does not have enough power to jolt two dogs that are in a serious dominance fight. My two pit bulls got into it recently and it didn't even phase them when they were fighting, jolted multiple times facial jaw etc. and it didn't break them up ended up tackling $ wrapping agressive one with a blanket and wrapping them up to get them to stop.I have two male dogs it would fight occasionally due to competition for dominance. During the last fight I pop them both with the zapper and needless to say all I have to do now is hit the beeper sound and they stop right away. This thing's definitely keeping the peace around here.
