I keep this on my mantle year-round. It is quite entertaining for friends that come over. It seems to be good quality and the flexibility in the hat as it moves makes it look like a real hat and not just a plastic thing.

I got this because I am a Harry Potter fan. I never saw this back in the days of Harry Potter. It is well constructed and in excellent new condition. The hat says about 5 phases. The hat likes to place me in Raven claw but we all know I am a Gryffindor. The sorting hat will sit on my bookshelf next to my Harry Potter figurine. Love it you will too if there are any left get one even though it is a bit pricy, but you might not be able to get this type anywhere else. Nice collector's item. The hat feels like some type of leather and the little tassel in the back is movable. Nice hand touch to the hat.

The media could not be loaded. What a great gift or decoration for any Harry Potter fan! This item by Hallmark is amazing! In my opinion it is too big for a tree decoration as it is 5 inches tall, but even on a shelf or table is so cool! Has 5 different lines from the movie. Highly recommended!

If you are Harry Potter fan you will live this ornament. It is not too heavy and it is fun to have in your tree. Great addition for your tree, it a great gift idea.

Was actually pleasantly surprised when i opened the box to see that it looks and sounds exactly how it does on here. Moves and sounds better than expected, doesnt weigh that much and looks great on the tree. Definitely worth the price, doesnt feel or look cheaply made, has a solid feel to it. Cant go wrong with this one

Extremely happy with this purchase! The ornament arrived packaged very securely. The keepsake box was wrapped, and in perfect condition with no bent corners or tears. The ornament itself was wrapped securely and arrived in perfect condition! Including a picture of the purple and orange logo, that definitely looks a little cheap. Still so happy with the purchase.
