Good entry level lights for general building and illumination. Easy to use.

I know what I'm doing and these aren't anything special. If you know what they are and you have a good skill set with various building blocks or models, then you will be fine. But if you're a casual and think this will be an easy set up, you are mistaken. Applying lights takes finesse. You will have to rebuild your set. Make modification. And the battery packs are fairly large and obtrusive. If you are patient and knowledgeable with LEGO it will be an awesome experience. Note that these are extremely bright white LED's. You will either use acrylic paint to tint them or a colored clear piece to modify according to your needs.

The first 3 I used worked fine. After that, the rest starting popping and then smoking as they burnt out almost instantly. A few of them melted into my blocks. These are probably not safe. I'm a bit worried about the current ones I have and will have to keep an eye on them. I'm a bit disappointed in them to say the least.Update: Teddoo contacted me and have provided me with a refund. I am adjusting the review based on their great customer service. They say they are working on a solution to this problem, which I hope is true, because when these lights work, I really like them. In addition, after trying a few more of the lights, I noticed they work with most other Teddoo products, but the 1x4 LED light kit lights (both the bar and the plug) cause them to burn out every time, so be aware of that.

These little lights won't be for everyone, but they sure are fun when you want to add an extra element to creating lego art. They could be a little tedious for some people but they are fun and a fun distraction from a stressful day. They create a nice little aesthetic decoration when you are done for an added bonus.

Worked well in my LEGO build for about a month, then stopped. Could feel wires getting warm when switched to ON.

So I was luck enough to get the Lego Architecture series Fallingwater, based on Frank Lloyd Wright's famous house in Pennsylvania. Now, it's impressive enough as it is, and my wife even lets me display it in the living room, where it actually fits the arts and crafts motif. Then, I added this set to it, and even my wife (who thinks I'm nuts.) was actually impressed! It gave a nice warm glow to the interior of the set, giving you the idea that it was being lived it. Made the model stand out all the more. If you've got something that needs some interior lighting, you can't go wrong with this set.

The first set I ordered was warm white LEDs as advertised. I ordered a 2nd set a week later and they are bright white. I returned them and asked for an exchange. They arrived today no box, parts missing! Thought Amazon would exchange with another new product, not so. I'll never ask for an exchange again.
