This umbrella was perfect to shade a large section on my deck. I bought long cement stepping stones to place in the black bags to hold it down in winds. The umbrella was very easy to roll up each night. I highly recommend this umbrella if you have a deck around a pool.

This umbrella is huge, looks great, is easy to assemble, and is a steal for the price. If you purchase this, just make sure to weigh down the base (as it says to do in the instructions) with sand in the sandbags they provide. This is to make sure it stays stable in the wind. This is a really nice umbrella. I love the fabric and the sturdiness of the frame. I noticed the crank was not smooth when opening the umbrella, but I thought maybe it would loosen up with use. After using it about 12 times, the cord snapped when I was putting up my umbrella. It is past my return window, but I really don't want to return it. I simply want the company to send me a replacement mechanism. I told them I can put the canopy on the new one myself. I love this umbrella and just want to be able to use it. Spending over $100 on anything, it should last more than 12 uses. I believe this is a good umbrella, but I just got one that was strung incorrectly. I've sent the company 3 emails through Amazon and left 2 detailed VMs. Absolutely no response. This is absolutely ridiculous. I would give the umbrella a much higher rating, but I can't because of their nonexistent customer service.

They thought of everything. The umbrella itself covers a large area. The photo is of nighttime because I put it together in the cool of night, but during the HOT summer of Arizona, opened in daytime it extends my patio shade and shades the plants enough to provide relief. The stand is included and serves as a basket for the weights and I don't see the umbrella moving ANYWHERE. I placed and old towel in the bottom of each zipper cloth bag (2) and then placed left over patio bricks in them and zipped them up fine. the cloth cover finishes it off nicely with hooks already attached to hook under the basket of the stand. It coudn't be any better if it shot fireworks on the fourth of July..

Casts a lot of shade, which is great. I'm using it on a deck and the triple umbrella covers everything I needed it to. It was easy to assemble with a one man operation. I bought 2 fifty pound bags of sand for the base, you will need this if you want it to stand in place. As far as durability, that is to be seen. The fabric isn't that thick canvas that I remember the typical patio umbrellas having. I like the color. The umbrella opens and closes nicely, operates as expected. Overall satisfied and for the price, I'd recommend
