Good for quick trips
I'm about 2 months in. Got it to get to work. I'm 6' around 170lbs. It gets me to work (2 miles there and back 5 times a week). Haven't had any issues. It doesn't like uphill, but it tries. Paid itself off with a day of work. Would rate 4 stars because I should have waited and got a faster one, but this one gets the job done.

worst scooter ever
If I could give the Caroma scooter zero stars, I would. This thing is an absolute disaster. I bought it thinking I’d get a decent, reliable ride. Instead, I got a deathtrap on wheels that doesn’t even have the decency to break down safely. The scooter literally shut down in the middle of my ride—no warning, no beep, just went completely dead like it decided to take a nap halfway through the trip. I was left standing in the middle of the road, pushing this useless hunk of plastic like a broken shopping cart. But wait, it gets worse. After it powered off, it wouldn’t even turn back on. I tried everything—resetting it, charging it, pleading with it. Nope, it’s as if this scooter has a mind of its own and decided, “Yeah, I’m done.” So now I’m stuck with an overpriced paperweight. And even before that incident, the ride quality was garbage. It rattled like it was held together by duct tape, and the brakes were either too sensitive or completely ineffective. The handlebar grips are flimsy, the deck is tiny, and the wheels look like they were borrowed from a kid’s toy. I’m not even sure how this thing made it past quality control. Do they even test these?Save yourself the frustration and humiliation of pushing a dead scooter through the streets—do not waste your money on this junk. Caroma, get your act together and stop selling people this overpriced, defective trash!

Good but ... Keep the packaging
The media could not be loaded. This was a nice scooter while it lasted less than 2 months even without daily use. I had to pay $45 for packaging to return it, although Amazon was cool to refund 30 of that. It's still kind of irritating to have to pay to replace it when I'm a prime member and there's no way they're going to refurbish or reuse this. It's just going in the trash once this heavy thing is sent to its final destination or waste. But that's more my problem with Amazon economy than the scooter. If it didn't get that software problem or whatever that made the accelerator go without pressing, it would have been a great little thing for the the moneyThe accelerator got stuck. Gave an e2 error and then fortunately it stopped working all together so it wouldn't be so dangerous I guess.

Great gift!
Works and charges well. Can go pretty fast. Bought a helmet to go with it.

Battery completely died after only 2 months.
This scooter stopped working after just a few months. We got the scooter in November but didn’t ride it all winter until the spring. The seller immediately responded to my email and sent us a new battery for the scooter for free. I was so happy w their response time and willingness to fix The problem. The battery is very complicated w a lot of wires. I could notFind a YouTube video on how to install the new battery. I emailed The seller repeatedly thanking them for the battery but asking if they could send me instructions on how to install. They completely ghosted me. They have not responded ever again. The new battery is useless to me bc no one can figure out the installation. I brought to a bike/scooter repair shop and they wanted $150 plus tax to remove old battery and replace w the new one. That is more than the scooter. I am so upset and disappointed bc my only option is to buy my daughter a new scooter bc this one is a lost cause.

Pretty Good Scooter for the Price
It’s a good scooter for the price. I use it for college and all of my roommates also have scooters, however their scooters are definitely way smoother and speedier. They did pay about $400-$500 for their scooters though so that’s expected. It has lasted me all school year and is a little bumpy to ride with the small wheels so I’d recommend a scooter with bigger wheels. But overall it’s a pretty good scooter and gets me where I need to go. It’s easy to use and folds down pretty easily.

Great for college student
I got this for my daughter to use at her college campus. Two of her friends got the same scooter as well. She loves riding it around campus. It’s keeping her active and it’s getting her around school. I definitely recommend. I only had to install the handle bars, they snapped right into place. I only had a charge for a few hours and it was good to go.
