First time growing vegetables indoor with this product. I’ve used soil bases before and this product is much better. It does not compact like soil and if you mix it with 15-20 percent pearlite and water till 10 to 20 percent run off, it holds well. You can separate the block in half and that will give you enough mix coco/pearlite and that will fill a 3 gallon planter to about 1 inch from the top. So you can get 2, 3gallon planters from one coco brick plus the pearlite for drainage and retention.

It’s not just the coco that canna makes that’s great. They are well studied and create top to bottom nutrients that work fantastic together. This is well worth the price. I usually put a few bricks in a large storage bin and water then cover for a night. The next day it breaks down into a beautiful substrate. Add some perlite and you’ll have one of the best mediums you can grow in. It’s honestly relaxing to break down after an overnight bin. It’s smells rich and clean. Big fan of everything I have used from Canna. Thankful I found them early on and have never felt the need to look elsewhere. I don’t think there’s another coco that can compete with them.

First time using Canna, I usually use organic soil and powdered fertilizer where applicable. Even though I read all about coco , I didn’t know what to expect. nothing not to like about it so far. Alas, I have only been trying it out for a short while, so do not listen to me.

The bricks of Canna Coco are compact, light in weight and readily transform into a rich planting medium with addition of water, a wait of a couple of minutes and very easy mixing with hands. Two blocks come with each package, it is more manageable to mix one block at a time.
