Got this on a whim as I did not really need it but figured since I was getting the grip tape file as well...Works so good to get a solid clean application.

You don't need it but you want it.
I really thought this was dumb. But then I used it. It's pretty cool of course you can use the trucks and wheels to achieve the same thing but this is easier and it does help to get all the bubbles out. Definitely not something you have to have but its.cool
