The box is well built very sturdy

Intended for storage . Ideal size and construction for intended purpose .Cannot fully comment on durability as I have just received item. For my purpose , not heavy duty and generally infrequent access it looks fine.

The boxes are assembled throughout with dovetail joints, the precision of which is utter perfection. However, the sturdiness of the box is compromised by very cheap hinges, which are with pressed, integral fixings, equivalent to short nails or tacks, as is the clasp. When opening, you are advised not to let go of the lid until it comes to rest. Not suitable for children to play with. The fact that these boxes arrive with untreated wood, gives one every opportunity to make of each box as he will. The wood proves highly porous and will obviously gain longevity if painted or varnished. Staining and varnishing produces a very attractive item fit to adorn any home. If stained and 'epoxy glass' coated, they are truly stunning. Their finish is extremely smooth and ready to accept any application.

A good fairly solid box, no frills but well made and excellent value for money. A very useful box, so I bought several. If a 'posh' finish is required then some light sanding preparation work is required for paint or varnish. I just stained mine with no prep and they look ok.

I got this to store my excess beads from 5D diamond painting. I have loads of small bags, so I made dividers for the box to organise the bags. It works brilliantly and the box is the perfect size and good quality. I am keeping mine plain, though may cover it with beeswax. It would be a great box for decoupage or other crafty projects.

I ordered it because it said 33x24x10 cm. I would have been ok with +-1 cm, as the description says. But what I got was 28x19x6. The only reason it's 3 stars and not 1 it's because it's a nice box. But not what I need.

Perfect for what I needed. Slightly bigger than A4 size. Needed as a treasure box for all the little things the children make and I need to store somewhere - smooth and nicely sanded and a good size.

Excellent wuality box.. great value for the money. Very sturdy and the hinges and clasp are good quality. This is the second time I have bought this product and will definately buy again and recommend to all

The softwooden box itself is good....no cracks no faults. The lid is properly aligned with the bottom part. But when such a box is shipped in nothing more than a thin brown Amazon envelop without any bubble wrap inside you get a box that has 3 out of 8 corners damaged from throwing it around. I guess as i need this box soon as part of a present i can save it by rounding of by sanding all edges and corners.

La scatola risulta molto graziosa, i vari elementi sono allineati bene (non perfettamente, ci sono delle leggerissime disallineature ma è davvero roba da niente) è sicuramente robusta quanto basta per contenere oggetti vari (io ci ho messo varie spazzole e attrezzi per la manutenzione delle scarpe), certo, se intendete sedervici sopra non so quanto potrebbe reggervi, ma come porta-oggetti va benissimo temevo che il legno fosse troppo grezzo, invece devo dire che, sebbene non liscio è comunque piacevole al tatto, invoglia molto al decorarla! Insomma, se considero il prezzo di circa 25€ è un ottimo prodotto!

Die Box hatte fast keinen optischen Makel (bis auf eine kleine Ausbesserung am inneren Boden, die aber kaum sichtbar war) und keine unschönen dunkelbraune Stellen wie viele andere Kisten dieser Art. Das Holz war angenehm glatt und unanfällig für Splitter, auch wieder ein großer Vorteil gegenüber anderen Kisten, deren Holz sehr viel roher ist. Der Verschluss ist solide, eine angebrachtes Band zum Offenhalten des Deckels wäre noch praktisch gewesen. Insgesamt ein gutes Geschenk für jemanden, der Wert auf eine einheitliche Ästethik und eine angenehme Oberfläche der Box legt.
