Works Great and easy to install and use!
This is by far the easiest trimmer head I have ever found. Had one on my old trimmer but I threw away all the adapters so it wouldn’t work on my new one. The old one has lasted more than 15 years! No more line feed problems, trying to rewrap trimmer line, just pull out broken line from the bottom and insert new line. I use .130 gauge Echo brand trimmer line and it’s the best I’ve found. Leave enough trimmer line poking thru the inside so you can grab it and pull it out with a pair of pliers. It only feeds one way and holds the line right. This is the first thing I bought for my new trimmer! I despise bump feeds and line that won’t feed correctly. I just carry a pair of pliers and a couple of new pieces of line in my pocket while I’m trimming and change as needed. I don’t even shut the trimmer down while doing so. It’s very quick and easy to use and no hassle in my opinion! I’ve owned several, and since this is my second one, that should say something!

Makes loading line so much easier, and the line lasts longer
I could never get the hang of bump feeders. They either devoured the line, the line got tangled, or melted and fused the line inside the trimmer head.. The Stens Qwik Loader is a game changer. I have it on a Husqvarna 223L.It's not easy to figure out how to assemble the Qwik Loader on your particular trimmer. It comes with a lot of different choices of nuts and shaft adapters. I watched some videos and read forums to get the right parts and assemble them in the right order. I took photos of each step to remember the order of the adapters, nut, etc. because I change back and forth between the Qwik Loader and a round blade. One BIG advantage of this loader is that it will accept .155 line. I recommend making a small adaptation: Before you insert the line into the holes in the loader, trim the insertion ends of the lines at an angle with heavy scissors to make a sharper point. Otherwise it could be hard to insert a heavy line.***One other IMPORTANT warning: to remove the lines when they get too short, don't try to pull out toward the exterior. The harder you pull, the more the line will get wedged in the clamp in the hole and extraction will be extremely difficult. You can only remove the line in one direction: toward the center (the inside).A heavy line will tend to get a bit stuck in the hole. Maybe the heat deforms it. If that happens, pull it out with pliers.Once you get the hang of it, this loader is actually pretty simple: cut two lines to length, insert them in the holes, and go.The biggest benefit of the Stens Qwik Loader is that the line lasts a very long time if you buy quality line. I get at least an hour and a half of trimming per reload, and I trim very heavy weeds and small brush (1/8") with it. For that type of heavy duty use I recommend Arnold Maxi-Edge .155-Inch x 117-Foot Commercial Trimmer Line, sold here on Amazon. It's the toughest, longest-lasting line I've ever used, confirmed by a lot of reviewers.

works well kinda pricy ... eats up the little sticks
Works well and if you are like me; I can't get the dang long string to work right ... sometimes I luck into it but it is always a mess... so I thought these sticks couldn't get messed up ... WELL YES! but don' go to big of cord (or make sure you have needle nose pliers ... or make sure you stick enough to grap on the inside ... kinda tricky. Went make to smaller rods and it works great (though it eats them up ... I'm ok with that the hassle and throw away lost with the full line) i have not tried it but I would think one could just cut 11 inch secitons of my hundred pounds of line ... give it a try ... I haven't but I would bet it would work and that would save money. I would buy again ... I think 40 bucks, so you need to use it a bunch, I really do not ... Design your garden properly and you hardly need a whip ... just sayin'

Beats bump and feed
If your tired of rewinding line, taking apart the head, having line come out because you accidentally bumped the head, this is for you. Fixed line is so much better. Instead of using thin line, I now use .155 line. It lasts longer. I thought there would be line slippage but using the larger line, there is none. This one was easy to install and use. I will never go back to bump and feed. Also it will save you money because you buy less line. I recommend this to everyone that has a gas weed trimmer.

Love the ease of changing line!
This product is easy to use. I have used this product for years! If you do alot of trimming these are a must have! I worked as a commercial trimmer and these work great. A small pair of meddle nose pliers, extra line strips and your ready to go! No more trimmer heads that jam up and leave you frustrated in the heat!

Nice idea, but strings didn't last or stay in
I was hoping this would replace the horrible head on my Dewalt 60v max trimmer. Installation was easy (hint: you have to remove the Dewalt trimmer head AND shaft to install this on a Dewalt trimmer; it's easy once you look it up on youtube). Once installed, I eagerly poked the strings into the holes, presto! Loading a trimmer doesn't get any easier than that. Alas, the strings lasted about 30 seconds before they were worn down to a nubbin. So I cut lengths of sturdy Dewalt trimmer line to replace them; but these would not stay insertrd in the holes and were thrown from the trimmer head every time I started it. It's a great idea, but didn't work for my situation.

Unfreekinbrakable
I have used this head in the worst conditions possible with 12 inch .177 line and a 75cc Husqvarna brush saw. They are incredibly tough and last nearly forever. They literally wear down to the string locking cams and still work. It takes a big trimmer to run these but you won't find a better heavy string head
