Excellent portable display stand
Really like this monitor stand. The metal unit with metal thumb screws are a real upgrade from other stands with plastic parts. Everything is very solid. Affordable too Highly recommended.

Pretty cool portable small monitor stand - with some limitations or quirks.
I'm in law school and I'm constantly on my laptop. I bought a portable external monitor my 1L year so I can have two monitors while doing classwork. What I hated about the portable monitor was the fact the cover that was supposed to also act as a stand was horrible. My monitor constantly fell over and was not at a good height. So, I decided to give this a try.First impression: Seems well made. Solid construction, all metal, nice and tight with good weight.Mounting my monitor was super easy. Just screw it to the mount. Love the height it puts my monitor at and the different angles I can achieve. It looks really nice too. Lots of compliments.Things I don't like:1.) While it will hold your monitor in portrait or landscape mode, it won't simply spin or rotate into a different mode. You have to literally unscrew the monitor from the mount, turn it, and then screw it back on. Not a huge deal unless you find yourself changing often.2.) While it does fold-up somewhat, I wish it would fold up even more compact for carrying with a monitor attached.3.) I came with an extra ring and some foam with adhesive strips in the box, but zero instructions and no indication how I'm supposed to use them.Overall though I really like it and plan to keep using it. I would even consider it nice enough to give as a gift to a student or someone who works remotely. Also not a bad idea for home use or for people with smaller desks and the occassional need for an extra monitor.RECOMMENDED!

Product with excellent customer service.
Customer service from this company is outstanding. They were able to remedy my issue where the tension was too tight on the unit.

A Must Have
I have a portable monitor that is vesa mount capable. I found this stand that is perfect for putting the portable monitor on my desk at home to give me an extra view for work chat. The stand is all metal and has a really cool click when you move the arm around. It holds my 15 inch portable monitor with complete ease. It looks great and you and adjust and tilt in almost any direction that works for you. The build quality is absolute perfection.

Portable, Foldable Stand for Small Monitors
Compact but sturdy. Supports small monitors securely with anti-loss screws and a stable aluminum base. Folds flat for easy travel or storage. Clean silver finish looks professional on any desk. Ideal for portable monitors or creating a flexible, lightweight workstation setup. Was looking for a stand to mount a small monitor laying flat on my desk angled up just slightly and this was perfect. High quality look and feel.

Don't assume, measure your monitor bracket & save yourself a hassle
So I ordered this not noticing the size (75mm) when I did I figured it was fine - I've yet to come across a monitor mount that doesn't fit any of my monitors.Welp, this one doesn't fit. The 3 monitors l attempted are all within the advertised size range, but apparently they're all 100mm Vesa style. They're also all different brands. Also, since the screws are handily preinstalled and built in to keep from getting lost or falling out (great, if you have a monitor with a little 75mm mount) it's difficult to use a 75mm to 100mm mount adapter because these screws are on the shorter side. The quality is nice and I like the full swivel but would it have killed them to use the standard 100mm or include holes to make it compatible with 100mm monitors? This is a 3.5 star product for me because it's not compatible with all the monitor sizes it lists AND may require you to remove your existing hardware to see if you have 75mm holes or 100mm holes AND also make sure your screw hole fits the size screw they use b/c they don't come out of the mount.

Well designed, heavy duty great value!
Absolutely LOVE this stand!I needed a better POS monitor stand for one of the screens in my food truck and this works perfectly! In the pictures is a 15" Toast monitor, a 17" looks like it would fit in landscape orientation, definitely would not work in portrait though. It's very sturdy, heavy duty, designed very well and won't tip over easily in normal use. There's literally zero assembly, the thumbscrews are permanently attached (no more losing them!) and have some spring tension to keep them in place. There's also a thin rubber cushion on the mounting bracket that helps keep the bracket and monitor firmly together. It folds down really flat if needed to save space or to lower the center of gravity. I'll definitely use that during transport so it doesn't fall over while driving.A few of things to keep in mind:1) The base arm is able to swivel on the base so you can rotate the monitor 360°, the pivot at the monitor mounting bracket allows tilt so you can adjust the viewing angle -HOWEVER- the mounting bracket pivot DOES NOT spin to allow changing between portrait and landscape mode, you would have to remove the screws and reorient the monitor to change between portrait and landscape.2) This stand is intended for monitors with VESA mounting holes (the smaller VESA pattern) and will not work with a tablet or screen that doesn't already have screw holes.3) Height adjustment - There is a very small amount of height adjustment that you can play with, but the pivot arms aren't telescoping for any real height gains4) This is intended to be a portable free-standing unit - There aren't any holes in the base to mount it to a corner, however, you could always drill a couple of holes if you needed a more permanent or secure mount.
