Great bass, better than airpods, and bang for your buck
Been using them for a week and I'm truly impressed. Comfortable to wear so long as you change the eartip to your most comfortable size. Personally i don't like noise cancelation on any earbuds or headphones so I had that off thru the app. Overall my favorite thing are the sounds in these things, I'm a huge bass lover and mids and these things aced it! Battery has lasted me about 4-5 hrs each earbud, I only wear one at a time though so no biggie for me. The earbuds connect super quick to my android phone and the app is great too. Loads super quick makes the changes on the settings for the earbuds instantly never had a connection issue, easy plug and play. Overall these earbuds blow away any other esrbuds for me like the airpods or airpods pro in terms in the sound quality. For 30 bucks just do it. Definitely won't find another pair of earbuds around this price range with this good of an audio quality. I've tried multiple and none have been as good as these. These will definitely be replacing more airpods, way cheaper and BETTER audio!

Yes, buy these earbuds, they're very fun
Should you buy these? Yes. First of all, these are an incredible value, even though I'm not sure what the actual price is. I bought a pair today for $30, curious about how well these perform despite being so cheap, considering how well-liked they are. I tested them on a set of tracks that are unbalanced, each in their own way (e.g. too heavy on the bass/treble/etc.) and somehow they all sounded good. I don't know how that's even possible. These little things have bass you can feel, which I've never experienced with any kind of earbud. It's not something that I particularly enjoy, but a lot of people will, and it's impressive nevertheless. When I like a pair of headphones I get a backup pair, so I just bought another pair of these and they were only $20. After I bought them they went up to $40. All of those prices are justifiable for the quality these provide, but I am very confused why the price keeps changing on me. But let's say they're supposed to be $40. At that price point, you wouldn't think to compare them to Sony's WF-1000XM4 or Apple's Airpods Pro 2, but they sound better than both. It's not that hard to sound better than Airpods, but there are other features worth comparing. Sounding better than Sony's WF-1000XM4s, however—at somewhere between 6.75% and 13.5% of the cost—is pretty incredible. Granted, they're definitely not more realistic, but these somehow manage to make everything sound good. Senheiser's IE 600s are for realism, but I would not argue that they sound better. When you're listening for fun, the CMF Buds 2a are the most fun. Normally, I prefer uncolored, realistic sound even in a headphone I use for fun, but these are a rare exception. I love trying new headphones because you get to hear your favorite music in a new way. Sometimes it's not a huge difference, but I hear more detail than average so I enjoy the subtle stuff. I think the sound stage of these buds elevate the sound significantly. You can really hear the details, even in a bad mix. You can hear the sound move so well and with such fluidity. It's just hard to believe these are $20-40 Bluetooth headphones. I've used these for only a couple of hours now, so I can't speak to battery life, but I'm hoping they truly will make it through the workday. They're surprisingly comfortable, and the medium tips actually fit great (usually I'm a small size). I like the design. Everything's plastic—and not plastic that feels particularly sturdy—but the design is nice. While the headphones feel like they go into the case backwards (to me, at least), they snap in thanks to magnets and look nicer in that "backwards" position. The case is very small and looks nice in a minimal way. The active noise canceling is good and comparable to the WF-1000XM4s. I think the AirPods Pro 2 win in the ANC category by a hair. If there's one place I can fault these buds is in the touch controls. I can turn ANC on and off, but so far I haven't been sucessful with any other option. They just don't seem to respond well to taps. I don't really care, though. I find touch controls useful only when I can't control the volume and track through any other mechanism. I find it much easier to make these adjustments on my phone or computer. Still, I would prefer if I could get the touch controls to actually work. These buds are my new recommendation for non-audiophiles, and audiophiles who want a fun pair. They're exceptional for the price, and would still be competitive at five times the cost. I'm really glad I decided to give these a try.

Good Quality and Excellent Value
Works exactly has advertised and the price was great during a Prime day special. +Audio quality is good, solid bass and overall volume. +Noise cancellation options work exactly as you would expect. +Pairing was painless. +Battery life and charging is easy and meet or exceed my expectations at this price point. -Control app is a little light on features and some options can't be fully customized. I'm not giving it 5 stars due to long-term comfort issues after sustained use and I would like some of the gesture control options in the app to be unlocked so hey can be adjusted. I understand why they are not customizable by default, but it feels like that would be an easy warning dialog that requires you to click through before allowing a change. Make it big and scary to dissaude people from casually clicking, but still provide that freedom.

Simplistic while offering Quality Sound and Performance
I bought these after watching current video reviews. I lucked out and got them brand new at 50% off the current retail price. They are a simple baseline model with less frills than the more expensive options such as the Pro2s. That being said they sound fantastic. The app is easy to navigate and makes them extra customizable. Battery life is fantastic. Honestly I'm completely impressed with the CMF 2a series. For a set of base model true wireless buds they lack nothing essential for music lovers. Nice build quality, stylish color optiins, and they sound awesome from the crisp clear highs down to the punchy bass filled lows. Overall a really great product that performs well for the price tag. Judging from these I'm willing to now possibly consider adding a set of Pros or choosing other CMF product purchases in the future.

Good Ear Buds with a price to make them great
Good sound, solid ANC, great battery life, comfortable and priced perfectly so I don't have to worry about them. I own these, the CMF Buds Pro 2 and Nothing Ear A. These work well, but miss some of the better sound and features of the other 2. The real win here is the price. Especially if you are going to be somewhere and worry about losing or getting them damaged.

incredible sound quality for the price
For $30, I really was not expecting these to sound as good as they do, but they're honestly great. At least so far I can't think of a single criticism! The build quality feels solid. The ear pieces are comfortable and fit well, even for long listening sessions. The battery life is good. The bluetooth connection is solid, and might be the fastest of any device I've ever used. The sound is crisp and clean, without the overwhelming, overpowering bass so ubiquitous in products of this price point. I would definitely recommend the Nothing X companion app as well. It'll let you connect the device even easier and faster, and lets you change the sound setting. You get passive, active noise canceling and "awareness mode". All sound great. The noise cancellation and awareness are subtle; effective, without changing the sound on the device. Overall, I'd hugely recommend this to anyone!

Durability test approved
I absolutely love these. For me, they sound great, I can be heard, and hear during phone calls, they’re durable, and the battery lasts me an entire 10hr shift no problem. They also don’t hurt my ears if I wear them under my motorcycle helmet. On numerous occasions I’ve accidentally dropped both of these buds from a height in excess of 7ft climbing in and out of a semi-truck; and without fail, they’re still connected to my phone and playing just fine. I see a lot of people giving these in-ear buds 1 star reviews just because they don’t have perfect sound and honestly I find that very unfair. You have to remember These are a $30 pair of earbuds, the sound is going to be decent at best, and even with that price tag in mind, my expectations were far exceeded on first listen. $40 is usually my max dollar amount whenever I get headphones, because I know I’m going to be harsh on them, and I know they USUALLY don’t last very long. However, I’ve had these for a few months and the money I spent on these was extremely well worth it. I couldn’t have asked for a better product. I have a tendency to inadvertently do a bit of “durability testing” with every pair of headphones I buy. Putting them in hot environments like gym saunas, cold and dirty environments like being outside for work in the middle of winter, dropping them from being clumsy, wearing them all smashed up against my head in a motorcycle helmet, etc; and they still hold up firm to this day. If you need a very affordable pair of headphones that you don’t have to worry about being tough on, these are your new best buddy. Get them!

READ THIS IF YOU'RE A LINUX USER!!
This one was a hard 4 star, id say its more of a 3 and a half. aside from the CMF buds 2a i recently bought, i also own the direct competitor to this item, the anker soundcore p30i's (both are about $25-30), and after using both a lot in the same situations i often pick up my soundcores instead. my use case it pretty simple, i own a windows desktop machine, a iPhone, and a laptop i use daily with Linux on it. the buds connected to my iPhone and windows machine just fine, no issues, however trying to use these on my Linux machine (Linux mint- based on Ubuntu) they would connect and disconnect shortly after with an "Failed to pair: org.bluez.Error.AuthenticationTimeout" error, other times it would connect but not be recognized as a sound device. after reading a bunch of forums, its turns out every pair of CMF buds has this issue, to fix it you have to manually go into bluetoothctl in a terminal and find your buds mac address (in this format XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX) then manually pair it thorough the terminal, its extremely difficult and took me 30+ tries because the connection just fails, until it doesn't. after it made that initial connection through the terminal it finally worked, and now connects automatically, show up as a audio device and all is swell, but if i didn't find that issue out while i had time to fix it, i would've been real angry with it not being seamless. comfort wise i find them easy to wear, they don't fall out my ears, the case seems durable, but one thing i found was that they don't get as loud as id like, even after doing the workaround for higher volume (yes, you have to find a workaround for that too. assign a button to turn volume all the way up on the earbuds if your using a iPhone). in conclusion, i like my soundcore p30i's more, they have better ANC, and are louder, but most of all THEY JUST WORK, there's not a million workarounds you have to search up to get them in working order.
