This bag has quickly become my new favourite sling bag for my daily tasks. I have tried a handful of sling bags that were good, but I always found that they were lacking in one thing or another. The M-Tac however ticked all the boxes I needed, from size, storage capabilities, build quality/materials and overall aesthetic. I have been using this bag for outings in the city, the gym and even work, which has seen it in some harsh environments, and it has held up marvellously. Even in moderate rain, my items stayed dry and I especially like the layout of the bag. The main compartment is very spacious, as well as the three smaller compartments to the front of the bag and the zippers are all very sturdy. I also really appreciate the shoulder belt pouch on the top, which is perfect for the smaller items that you would need to access easily, like keys, AirPods or hand sanitizer. Overall, this is a fantastic product, built like a tank, and comfortable to carry. I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for that perfect tactical shoulder sling that isn't too big or small, and will have the capability to store all of your EDC tools. 5 stars!

I've been using the M-Tac Tactical Bag for a few months, and I have to say – it's really impressed me. The bag feels tough and well-made, like it can handle everyday wear and tear without any issues. You can tell the materials are high quality just by holding it. The stitching is tight and secure, and the zippers have a nice, sturdy feel to them. It’s the kind of bag that gives you confidence it will last for a long time.

I purchased this bag in order to replace the 10+ sling bags I have purchased in the past. I carry a S&W M&P Shield Plus 4” w/red dot and the weapon fits phenomenally. I did have to cut the holster slightly in order for the gun to slide further into the holster. The red dot would hinder the weapon from sliding completely into the holster and the trigger was not completely covered. I am able to store 2extra 13 round mags and 2 TQs in the large pouch with my pistol. I have my phone, wallet (Slim wallet), and small flashlight in the 3 other pouches. The bag is well designed for a right-handed shooter. I noticed in the comments that either another customer or the manufacturer stated the bag can be used by a left-handed shooter. While it is POSSIBLE, it is not completely practical. I am a left-handed shooter and find that no matter how I have the bag slung across my chest I am not able to get a complete and comfortable purchase of the weapon when drawing without flaring my elbow up and putting my wrist into complete ulnar deviation. No matter how you wear the sling bag, the pistol will ALWAYS be canted for a right-handed shooter. Until a left-handed bag is made or an ambidextrous buckle is added this bag will always be for right-handed shooters with the ABILITY of a lefty to use it. I am a lefty and have extensive training with all types of firearms. It has always been the struggle of mine learning how to use right-handed firearms/holsters/bags as a lefty. Do I have to use this bag? Absolutely not, and I’m not saying you shouldn’t buy it because you’re a left-handed shooter. However, I wanted to create realistic expectations for my lefty friends. I will continue to carry this bag as I love the size and design. I will train to make sure I am getting a good draw from any position and orientation. I watched a few YouTube videos on the M-Tac bag and one of them stated she felt the Gen1 vs Gen2 had a different “thickness” of material. Such as the Gen2 being more flimsy. I purchased both the Gen1 and Gen2 in black in order to see for myself and I did not have this experience. I took the time to fill both bags with the same items in the same orientation and complete a few draws. I could not tell the difference. They both have the same feel as any “tactical” bag. The only difference I could see was the Velcro on the front of the bag for patches in the Gen1. The zippers have a nice feel to them and don’t seem to catch. Even with the pistol compartment completely closed and pulling the tab to draw my weapon the zippers felt nice. I went ahead and added Vaseline to the main compartment zippers to add some lubrication so that I can extend the life of this bag given the “yanking” and “pulling” it’s going to experience over it’s life. I gave this bag 5 stars having only used it for a week. I will provide an update in the future if there are more pros/cons that arise.

Perfect for any type of firearm unless you have a giant handgun. I personally use it for the pulse taser plus and it works well and isnt bulky or heavy to carry its like carrying a holster on a strap but its legally classified as a backpack

A good bag for the price, after a little practice. The zipper gets smoother with practice. Just wish the pull tab were just a little bit longer.
