1st Gen Wii, up and running!
This adapter is very easy to setup, literally plug and go. It is very light, so it looks very fragile; so we can store it behind the Wii.We were able to get the first generation Wii up, and running in less than 5 minutes. You don't have to worry about finding an adapter to connect the USB power cord, you can literally plug it into the WII console, and it will provide power source to this adapter. The picture quality is great, 1080.The only thing to note, the HDMI cable that came with the package might have been defective. The screen skips and the sound was 'jumpy' and 'laggy'. We switched to another HDMI we have on hand, and everything worked out well. The sound was constant and fine after that.

Just What I Needed For An Easy Conversion From RCA To HDMI…
I ordered this Portta RCA to HDMI Converter to connect an older video player that has RCA outputs to a projector with an HDMI port input. This device is exactly what was needed. It is very simple to hook up as this system is easy to set up, making it easy to use right out of the package. The set I ordered included a whole variety of cables including a USB-A to USB-C power cord (but it did not include the power adapter to plug into an electric outlet), an RCA to RCA cable with L&R Audio along with Video, and an HDMI cable as well so there is no need to order extra cables if you select the same setup I ordered with the 3 cables. The one item that it did not include was a USB power adapter, which in my opinion, should be included with the device. Overall, I’m very happy with this item and feel confident giving it a 5-star rating. I was considering deducting 1 star as it did not include the power adapter, but as I knew that BEFORE ordering, I didn’t feel it was right to deduct a star for that. I hope this review helps you with your shopping experience!

Works well with Wii
This adapter works well for displaying the Wii on a modern TV with HDMI input. The upscaling doesn’t stand out as particularly good or bad. I ordered the version with a USB-C cable included, but it wasn’t included.

Plug and Play
It was simple to install my new RCA ro HDMI converter. I purchased a new TV, and I realized a bit too late that it did not have RCA inputs. Imagine my surprise when I I try to plug it in, and the menu has an RCA port option. After racking my brain trying to figure it out, It took a minute to plug it in, and it worked perfectly. It was lightweight weight, and I was able to use the USB input to power it.

AV to HDMI Upscaler from Portta Store
The media could not be loaded. This device allows you to connect retro consoles using the red, white, and yellow AV cords to modern TVs that don’t have the compatible ports through an HDMI cable.***For those who may be confused: even though the resolution is advertised as 1080p this DOES NOT mean your graphics from your old consoles are improved in any way. It just means this device takes the console image and fits it to the wider screen of today’s TV***The device itself is quite compact (about the size of a deck of cards), very lightweight, and it’s decently enough well made but not high quality. Simply put: it does work for basically any AV device.During my testing, I successfully hooked up an SNES, N64, and Wii to my flat screen TV through HDMI. The quality of the audio works well but the quality of the visual was degraded slightly when compared to using the RYW hook ups in the back of the TV. The video looks a little more blurry for whatever reason. You do get a switch to toggle between 720p and 1080p but the difference is negligible. This does require a power supply in order to operate.Overall, this device does what it’s supposed to do allowing you to play retro consoles on new TVs, but the overall quality is slightly worse than using the standard AV hook up. However, this is a budget solution if your TV doesn’t have AV hookups.

4.5 stars, just works, cabling feels cheap, seems like a good price for about 20
The cabling all feels very cheap, but it all just works! SNES/NES/N64 no problems. It works very well on a TCL Q7 QLED 55" TV. The difference between 720P and 1080P isn't exactly prominent, but I figured I'd included images of both. I'd say it's a pretty good deal for about twenty bucks.
