Such a great gift idea for a motorcyclist! Not something they can buy for themselves. Got this for my man for our anniversary with a “Ride or Die” card. He loved it! The bell itself is a good weight and the perfect size. It has a rustic etched look to it, so If you’re wanting something more precise, this probably isn’t for you.

You ride motorcycles? You need a Guardian Bell
I was first told about the Legend Of The Guardian Bell during my Idaho STAR Course I took about 12 years ago:"Many of us have heard the story about Evil Road Spirits. They are little gremlins that live on your bike. They love to ride, and they’re also responsible for most of your bike’s problems. Sometimes your turn signals refuse to work; your battery goes dead, the clutch needs adjustment, or any of several hundred things that can go wrong. These problems are caused by Evil Road Spirits.Evil Road Spirits can’t live in the presence of the bell, because they get trapped in the hollow of the bell. Among other things, their hearing is super sensitive, so the constant ringing of the bell and the confined space drives them insane. They lose their grip and eventually fall to the roadway. Have you ever wondered how potholes are formed? The bell has served its purpose."Since I'm a bit superstitious, it made perfect sense to me, so I asked my family to get me one for my motorcycle. I will never ride without one now.

The bell works!
superstitious or not, this bell saved my bike. while i was trying to load the bike onto a trailer by myself, i lost footing and slipped off and the only thing that took damage was the bell which put itself in between the trailer and the bike frame and stopped any damage from happening. The bell is mis-shapen but survived the pinch as well. do not discount the value of having luck on your side

Never buy a Guardian Bell for yourself
Tradition has it that you can't buy a riding bell for yourself, it has to be a gift. So, if you know someone who rides, you should buy this bell for them. It's a good quality, the right size and has a nice ring.
