Vallejo Color White Primer Premium RC Colors

This isn't the shiniest gloss varnish, but it still goes down smooth and provides a decent sheen. I primarily use gloss varnish before certain steps of the painting process, and this lets oil and enamel washes collect easily in the recesses of models without staining the surface too much. It doesn't seem to yellow much at all, but I do not put my models in full sunlight, so I'm not sure what it would do to something that is outside a lot of the time(like an RC car shell) It also isn't terribly smelly, so you don't have to worry as much about fumes stinking up your workspace. It still has a smell, as most varnishes do, but it probably isn't going to give you a headache. Games Workshop's 'Ardcoat is still shinier, but this is airbrush ready and does the job I want it to. It can also be spot applied to areas you want to be glossier, but not with the same level of sheen as specialty products typically do.

Nice orange, acrylic, easy cleanup, a little expensive but good stuff.

I’ve used this as a final coat for several models as well as props for cosplay and I love the finish. It may clog your airbrush if you don’t use it fast enough but it’s easily cleaned if you’re familiar with how to clean it. It applies evenly, the finish is good.

Smooth paint with a matte black finish. Lost my mini to the shadows for a minute. Still needs thinned for airbrush use even though it seems watery. Applies like a dream with a brush or airbrush.

Great colour density and pigment fill. Finish appears quite durable.
