GYMENIST Set of 2 Chrome Dumbbell with PVC Rubber Ring and Soft Padded Cushion Handles, Pair of 2 Heavy Dumbbells

These are very sharp looking and seem to be good quality. I ordered them because of the skinny grip and I love it. Most neoprene weights have thick handels which I hate. The handel is covered in black thin "foam" and I can see this ripping down line because of the way I use weights. I do a high intensity cardio and strength class where we use them in many different ways including picking them up, jumping and dropping them quickly etc. the reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the are not easy to do push ups on because the metal is more slippery than neoprene and there are no "indents" on the side to keep from rolling. However, I used then for class anyway and had to use more core strength because of the sliding so I guess that's good. These are perfect if you plan to use them for curls or straight lifting exercises.

These weights are beautiful, and the part that you hold is padded for comfort. No defects for the 8lbs.Revised: I reordered the 5lbs, and one of the weights had a scuff on the end, and the padding looked like it had been pressed on by something. Not worth it to return something this heavy asking for absolute perfection. Overall satisfied.

The packaging was very poor, and one of the dumbbells was damaged. The bar was bent, causing the weights to be at an angle. If you roll the dumbbell on the floor it wobbles. They did not look new. There are minor scratches, but not very noticeable. I cleaned all the smudges and fingerprints, and that made them look much better. However I can't do anything about the bent bar. I don't know if it was damaged in shipping, or if it was a manufacturing defect. The dumbbells are still usable. The foam grips are comfortable. The blue rubber rings look nice, and serve a useful purpose. You can lay the dumbbells on any hard surface without scratching it.

These weights are nice looking and easy on the hands.

I didn't like the blue bands design but I guess they are put in to prevent rolling and slipping. Chrome coating is chipped in some places. Really like the foam padding on the handles as I purchased 10 lb set and the weight is heavy enough to bother my hands without the padding. Overall good purchase.

Weights are compact and easy to handle. They are comfortable to use and store conveniently. Great purchase

These dumbells are precisely what I wanted. The padded handles make them very comfortable to use and the weight is perfect for toning arms.

Looks sleek, so I don't mind keeping them out. Cushiony grip is easy to hold.

The GYMENIST set of two Chrome Dumbbells were an excellent buy; I purchased them close to a year ago and they still look good the day I bought them, durable, well made, comfortable grip, and a joy to work out with.
