For the first time, I have used this acrylic medium to make the texture, and the result is amazing!! Would like to recommend it to those who have innovative ideas. Worth buying.

hi i bought this product second time but this time sealed was opened. this makes me worry to the fact that it might be used. but really i won't expect the same again. But i have no time to replace it so i used it readily. this Gel medium is used for image transfer and it gives a translucent effect to the color but modeling paste is better if you are looking for spatula work or some 3D effect to color. i shall be shifting soon to impasto medium of that Daler Rowney , modeling paste of liquitex unless you are doing image transfer. modeling paste is better for impasto or de kooning like texture because it gives a flexibility.

Product: Nothing can go wrong with this product. Have been using it for years and will continue to do so! Excellent consistency! Delivery: With the lockdown in my city and me running out of my stock at the wrong time in the middle of a painting was a panic attack. Had it ordered immediately from "Himalaya Stationery Store", one of the best delivery experiences ever! They shipped it overnight via FedEx and I got it within a day even under given circumstances. Hats off!

Used for producing water effect on resin works and got very good results.

Super thick and very glossy and the product is as mentioned in the description. Becomes thicker when mixed with paint.

I'm using it to bulk out wire frame model trees. It bulks them out fine, but difficult to add bark texture to the tree afterwards. Still experimenting with it.

I wanted something that would slow my drying time and make my acrylics behave more like oil paints. …I purchased a slightly different product at first; the Liquitex Slow Dry Blending Retarder. Big mistake! After the first layer of painting dried, I went to do a second layer over the top (very common painting practice) and the underlay of paint just came scraping off in odd round strips and balls. It was so disheartening. I had worked for several hours and days on the painting. It was completely ruined. --Then-- I noticed this, which had almost the exact same name and packaging! Liquitex Slow Dry Blending Gel Medium (This Product here) was amazing! You can use as much as you want on your painting and it makes everything look and behave like oil paints, so buttery and silky beautiful! --This was just what I had hoped to find the first time. I also purchased this same product in the liquid form, which was great too. The gel helps to bulk up your paint more. It depends on what you want, but both forms are wonderful. Was exceptionally helpful when composing as I painted. Allowed me to mix then blend on canvas my acrylics. Was expensive, but as is often the case, I got what I paid for. 🙂👍
