Very well made and very sharp. Perfect for working in a garden 👌 blade thickness is great. Very easy to handle. Grip is excellent. So far no rust.

Much heavier built and stronger than a machete made from skin of a car hood. I haven't had a chance to use it yet, but it is much better quality than most machetes I've ever seen.

I bought this for cutting back bamboo in my backyard and because it looked really cool.It's a beautiful machete but I'm taking a star off because it is much heavier than a conventional machete, this thing will wear you out quickly.If you're a big guy or girl and you don't mind the weight I absolutely recommend it, it's a good looking blade.

Great heavy duty machete. Almost a sword. Comes fairly sharp but I was able to put a razor sharp edge on it. It will shave hair and cut through about anything you swing it at.Will last for many years.

The Timber Rattler Machete is a pretty solid piece. For the price, it's a good deal. I wasn't looking for something I had to be careful using, I wanted a tool that I could put to hard use and not worry about it if I happened to break it.That said, I don't know if I could break it just chopping branches and brush. The grinding lines for the edge are not perfectly straight, and there are visible tool marks on the blade. But it's solid, quite sharp and hefty.The sheath is probably not the most durable, but will do to protect both the blade and my fingers. There is no play in the grips, although I did wrap them with grip tape since it felt like it would be a bit slippery if it got sweaty.Once I saw the first one, I ordered a second one as a backup. Happy with that one too!

Cheap trash... Looks great... Handle will become loose after only a couple limbs being cut out of the way... Nice decorative piece...
