Very life like and detailed.

The figure looks better in person than the picture. It is very good at a short distance at a quick glance. I think you do have to measure your expectations vs price. I grew up catching and holding live ones, but you just cannot measure a figurine of this cost vs the real thing as they are small & have a lot of fine detail and i would expect a much more detailed model would have to be made of a harder material that would not be suitable for children to play with and cost at least 4-5x as much plus taking into account the limited demand. A great little figurine at a modest price.

Looks very real with my Arizona books on the bookshelf. And sadly, these guys are dying out in the wild due to habitat destruction, pesticides, people.

We used this lizard as a cake topper for my now 8 year old. He loved it on the cake and it fit perfectly. He still loves to play with it. The quality was pretty good for the price. It is a bit small but I kind of wanted it that way.

My 9 yr old loved it. It looks very realistic

It's going in my wife's new cactus bed.
