Mirror glasses?
Overall I loved the idea of these glasses and didn’t mind the bulkiness due to the fact that I knew they would need thickness to achieve the desired effect. However the execution is terrible. You are able to change the darkness however it’s like there is a mirror in the glasses, when wearing I could see everything behind me and it was extremely disorienting. I wanted to like these but I had to send them back due to the mirroring issue.

Cool shades
These are pretty cool looking. I am into weird stuff so I love that they are adjustable. The glasses are thicker than I would normally like but to make them the way they are they have to be that way. Each side is individually adjustable. I had seen a review saying the one side is totally black when done at the darkest. I didn't find that to be the case. They are dark but you can still see through the outer edges of them for sure. And it is kind of funny to do the light with a dark so it makes people ask what is up. They aren't for every day use for me but they are comfortable and fun and I like the look of them.

The lenses are a little small
I wish they were a little bigger but they look cool

Not a good design
I base this purchase off of how they looked on the models and these glasses are for tiny-headed people. If you have a normal size head they are so disproportionate you're not going to like how far up the lens the earpieces are attached. The lenses are huge but squeeze together so close. It makes you feel like a cartoon villain.. The darkness is off. The lenses is awesome. It's just the design totally blows

Nerdy, steam punkish, and yet functional for special needs …
These are not a replacement for your everyday sunglasses — do not view them through that narrow lens (pun intended). These are special needs, individually and infinitely adjustable lenses. Needs range from wanting a steam punk look out on the Burning Man playa where you will also benefit from polarized glare protection -- or want to look nerdy with one lens dark and the other transparent. Or where you want different levels of sun blocking in each eye — view finding a camera or telescoping, for instance -- and where you must protect one eye from bright light because of an eye injury.Wants: While the infinite adjustment requires the lenses freely rotate, I wish they also had click-stops to make them easier to sync up, especially while driving — where I find these glasses useful while driving into the gradient of sunlight during sunrises and sunsets.Issues to be aware of: All polarized lenses can be problematic when viewing digital screens, including GPS and CarPlay screens. Glass lenses are heavy. At one end of the spectrum of adjustment, the lenses go so dark you could use them for welding — although not safe for that purpose, nor for looking directly into the sun. However, when looking into the reflected glare of glass, chrome, water, or snow, these glasses work to tone down the brightness so you can see the subject in spite of the light. They are necessarily round for rotational adjustment, and have some heft because of the glass — so I recommend adding a neck strap. There are similar and less expensive alternatives out there, which may work as well, so check those out before committing to these. Having said that, I think this pair is fair for the price.

Steampunk!
These are truly funky sunglasses with a look that will most likely guarantee you to get noticed. The concept of being able to control the lenses darkness is unique and will take a little bit of getting used to. Obviously, one wants much darker glasses when say on the water or snow as compared to maybe driving. I simply close one eye at a time to adjust the lens and then, reverse eyes. There isn't a lot of side protection like you get with wraparound glasses so they may become a second (or third or fourth or...) pair but they are definitely a fun look to complete your ensemble!!!
