It does taste very sweet. I wouldn't drink throughout the day, but it hits the spot in the evening in place of a dessert. Caffeine free, so easy to have later at night.

Delightful flavor. Smells like a lemon pastry, tastes slightly sweet with just a hint of licorice (which I normally despise but works for this). Aunt tried it and fell in love so I’ve gone back to buy more for her as well!

This is a delicious tea that tastes a bit cakey, but without overt sweetness or artificial twang! I'm someone who typically hates sweet or dessert style teas, but this one reminisces dessert without any off-putting attributes. It tastes exactly like what I'd imagine a lemon pound cake would taste like, if it came in liquid form and the majority of sugars were removed. Nothing about it tastes artificial and there are no unpleasant notes. I don't know what magic they used to pull this off, but I'd love to find more teas like this!
