Works fine, but a tad tedious to operate
I did not receive a user manual with the camera, nor could I find one via Google search, so here are my own notes on how to operate all of the features of this camera:The photo shows the correct way to mount the memory card. The back should be flush with the camera body. See below for my suggestion on how to insert it into the slot.Overview of buttons: POWER Turns power on or off. Starts or stops recording video. Snaps one frame of still photo. Enables or disables Infrared Lighting mode. Enables or disables Motion Detection mode. Connects or disconnects as USB Removable Disk device. MODE Switches between 720p video, 1080p video, and single-frame photo modes.Overview of indicator lights: Blue Only Indicates 720p video mode. Power on (steady blue) or off (flashes twice, then turns off) Red Only Indicates single-frame photo mode. When connected to PC via USB, continuously flashes while camera is recognized as a "Removable Disk." Flashes twice to indicate an option setting has been enabled. Flashes 3 times to indicate a option setting has been disabled. Red+Blue Together Indicates 1080p video mode. Note: Lights turn off while video is recording and then come back on once recording has stopped.Installing memory card: The Kkeep memory disk slot was poorly designed which makes it difficult to insert a new memory card. I recommend the following technique: hold a toothpick inside and at the top of the slot compartment, slide the memory card into the slot using the toothpick as a guide to hold the card down so its connectors align with the cameras connectors. Remove the toothpick. Once that has been done, the disk should stay in place under most conditions. Do not insert the toothpick any further into the disk slot than necessary to keep from damaging the circuit board components.Power on: Press & hold POWER 2 seconds. Blue light on, then blinks once, stays on steady until another button is pressed.Power off: Press & hold POWER 8 seconds. Blue light on, flashes twice, then powers off.Video 720p: Default format when camera is initially powered on. Blue light is on steady. If camera is already on and blue light is not on, press MODE one click at a time until the blue light is on steady. Begin recording video: Press POWER once. Blue light will flash once then go out... camera is now recording. Stop recording video: Press POWER once. Blue light will come on steady.Video 1080p: If camera is already on and red/blue lights are not on, press MODE one click at a time until the red/blue lights are on steady. Begin recording video: Press POWER once. Red/blue lights will flash once then go out... camera is now recording. Stop recording video: Press POWER once. Red/blue lights will come on steady.Single-frame Photos: If camera is already on and red light is not on, press MODE one click at a time until only the red light is on steady. Take snapshot: Press POWER once. Red light will flash once then stay on steady... you have just taken one photo. Notes: Infrared Lighting also works for still photos. Motion Detection does not work for still photos.Infrared Lighting: Set camera to either 720p or 1080p video format before changing infrared lighting mode. If you change video format after setting infrared lighting mode, it will be disabled and you will have to re-enable infrared lighting for the new video format. Turn infrared lighting on: Make sure camera is on and not currently recording a video. Regardless of what color light is on, press and hold POWER for 2 seconds and release. The red mode light will flash twice to signify that infrared lighting has been engaged. Turn infrared lighting off: Press and hold POWER for 2 seconds and release. Red mode light will flash 3 times to signal infrared lighting has been disabled.Motion Detection: Set camera to either 720p or 1080p video format before changing motion detection mode. If you change video format after setting motion detection mode, it will be disabled and you will have to re-enable motion detection for the new video format. Turn motion detection on: Make sure camera is on and not currently recording a video. Regardless of what color light is on, press and hold POWER for 4 seconds and release. The red mode light will flash twice to signify that motion detection has been engaged. Turn motion detection off: Press and hold POWER for 4 seconds and release. Red mode light will flash 3 times to signal motion detection has been disabled.Setting camera clock: * When camera is connected to PC via USB, the file TIMERSET.TXT contains 1 line of text in the following format: * 'yyyymmddhhnnss Y', where: yyyy calendar year mm calendar month dd calendar day hh hour (24 hour format) nn minute ss second Y display ('Y') or not display ('N') timestamp in recorded video or photos * The initial contents of TIMERSET.TXT file is as follows: 20150101000000 Y The camera resets the date back to "1 January 2015" so it recognizes when you change it. * Tip: to accurately set the cameras internal clock time, open the file in any text editor and set the date & time values in the file to any future time. Then when that exact time occurs, press "Save" the contents of the TIMERSET.TXT file. The next time the camera power is turned on it will recognize the date & time has been changed from '1 January 2015" and that will trigger the camera to re-set its own time. Then it will re-set the TIMERSET.txt file back to "20150101000000 Y". * Example: if the current date & time is 12 November 2018 at 1:32pm and you do want to show an accurate timestamp in subsequent video recordings, then open the file and set the values to '20181112123300 Y'. Then watch any accurate clock and when it gets to exactly 1:33pm, press "Save". The next time you record a video the timestamp shown in the video will be the correct date & time no matter when the video is subsequently recorded.Additional Notes: * Both infrared lighting and motion detection may be set to on if desired. You may disable either infrared lighting or motion detection by pressing POWER 2 seconds (infrared lighting) or 4 seconds (motion detection). In each case, two flashes of red light indicates the mode has been enabled, 3 flashes indicates the mode has been disabled. * When connected via USB to PC, two file folders will be available: PHOTO and VIDEO. * All videos will be recorded in AVI format. * All photos will be recorded in PNG format. * Video filenames are formatted as MOVI0000.avi where '0000' increments by 1 for each subsequent video recorded, from 0 to 9999. * Erasing all videos from VIDEO folder will start video filename counter back to '0000'. * Photo filenames are formatted as PICT0000.png where '0000' increments by 1 for each subsequent snapshot, from 0 to 9999. * Erasing all photos from PHOTO folder will start photo filename counter back to '0000'. * Once filename counters reach '9999' they will cycle back to '0000' and overwrite any previous file with the same name. This is what allows the Kkeep camera to record continuously such that only the most recent 9999 files will be retained. Depending upon which mode settings have been set, the amount of available memory card space, and however long the battery charge lasts, the camera will retain the most recent hours or days of recording. When viewing video or photo files via Windows Explorer, the file timestamps reflect the date & time when the file was last saved (not when the recording started.) * Changing any PHOTO or VIDEO filename to any other name or format will retain those files until you manually remove them. * The cameras memory disk may be accessible via USB as a removable disk drive where you can store any of your own files in any format. However, as you use the disk drive, less file space will be available for PHOTOs or VIDEOs until you manually delete your files. * Because the memory card bay is directly exposed to the cameras circuit board, the Kkeep camera is neither waterproof nor water resistant. * The camera mode settings can be changed while it is connected to a power source or a powered USB port so the camera can run indefinitely. * Note that when any of the indicator lights are off, if the power has not been turned off (POWER button for 8 seconds) then the camera is currently recording. Anyone casually looking at the camera when no lights are on cannot determine whether the camera is recording or whether the camera power is off. In other words, when the camera is in recording mode and placed in a hidden or inconspicuous location, there will not be any indicator light that will reveal its presence. * Whenever you manually change TIMERSET.TXT file or delete or rename any of the video or photo files, you should always formally "Eject" to safely remove the USB drive. Otherwise it is possible some files may be corrupted when you remove the USB cable without first ejecting it. But if that happens, the next time you attempt to connect the camera via USB, Windows may prompt you to "Scan" the device for errors before proceeding. * Motion Detection does not actually "suspend" recording until motion is detected by the cameras sensors. Instead, when the camera is in recording mode it is always recording and when motion is detected it simply switches to another video file. Therefore, only the very beginning of a video file will show the motion that was detected while the remainder of that video file will show the continuation of the recording without any motion. When Motion Detection is enabled, when you look at the VIDEO folder and there is only 1 new video file it means the camera never detected any motion -- there should always be at least 2 files if any motion was detected and recorded.

Poorly designed.
The camera is Cheaply Designed. When you put the memory card in it, be very careful. Because of the card is put in too far, it's nearly impossible to remove. There are no guides to stop it from being inserted too far, and nothing to keep it straight. I purchased 2 of them., and only one of them worked. For a whole 2 minutes. Not worth the money!!

I would probay not buy this again
There were not many directions. There is no way to change the time or date on the videos. I thought I would be able to set the camera to motion detection and have it work all day but the longest it has stayed on had been under 5min.

So Frustrated With This Thing!
The "user manual" is poorly written and it doesn't really tell you how to operate it, which way you're supposed to put the SD card in.... by the way, if you put it in wrong you're screwed. Mine is stuck in the camera and I can't get it out. I can't even get the camera to turn on, even with it plugged in to charge. I was really looking forward to catching whoever is coming into my apartment and going through my stuff. Oh well.

Easy to use and to position
I like the size, the color black. It is easy to put it in the room and to charge. Video is not exceptional but you identify personnes.

Nice
We bought this in order to spy on our pets to confirm ,which one of our mouse was the culprit responsible for chewing our couch cushions, TV remotes and shoes. We have our suspicions but needed proof. We have a security system which offers cameras ,difinition is so good.

Great Buy!!!
I love the fact that this camera is so small. Easy to conceal, and picture/video quality is very good.
