This product is excellent and provides very quick and accurate results. You just need to follow the instructions as per the manual and the test results will come quite accurate. The box includes: 1. Chemical reagents to perform all the tests mentioned - PH, High PH, Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate 2. 4 Test Tubes 3. Manual and Color chart The color chart is very helpful and the manual explains very clearly how to understand the results based on the color. The PH results come immediately. For Ammonia/Nitrite/Nitrate, you need to wait for 5 minutes. In a well cycled tank - Ammonia and Nitrite must be 0ppm(VERYImportant) and Nitrate also within acceptable limits. This is a must for any aquarium and specially useful for any new tank setups where you need to monitor the water conditions regularly during the cycling process. Based on the results, you can take decision for water changes. Best Master Test Kit available !!!! Go for it.

It's nice but expensive tool to establish your tank parameters. Which is sometimes confusing as decoding is based on visual color matching which turns out to be extremely confusing and tricky when you get different colours which are not in the reference color table...this forces you to do guesswork... So far for me its approximately 65% clear report and 35% guess report...shall use this till we get better kit than this... Note: I mostly use API products for my aquariums. Thanks

All tests are accurate for ammonia tests u have to mix both bottles 1 and 2 and other use singles bottles for ph low and high there r two bottles both r different. in the container there r 2 ammonia 2 nitrites 1 nitrate and 2 ph bottles easy to use but read the instructions properly in the manual

Very well packed and company sealed Original product received. It's Made in the USA and not the (API- Aquarium Products India). 4 test tubes with stoppers come along in the kit. You Can Check Ph, High Range Ph(If you have Cichlids that need high Ph), Ammonia, Nitrite, and Nitrate. Wish it had Chlorine, Iron, Calcium, Magnesium, and Phosphate checking too though they are very cheap chemicals but should have been added. To get the accurate value you have to shake the hell out of the bottles for 30 seconds or you will get the wrong result. The Stick method is easier to use and just takes a minute and with this, you have to make a Chemistry lab on your table. eSHa is one more company that makes awesome test sticks. You just dip it in the aquarium and match the colors and it's 1000 rupees cheaper. It's also available on Amazon. You can choose between the two. Hope the review was helpful. Please be aqara, these tests require minuscule drops. So you want a product that has long shelf life. Just like many imported multi vitamins and other such products, sellers are selling products that are close to expiring date. I got mine with only 6 months remaining.

You will find this freshwater kit is far more accurate than test strips. The soaking of a tiny doped pad method of test strips just isnt an accurate way to test. This is the industry standard water test kit that most aquarists swear by. 1st, be sure the test chemicals you get are not near expiration. You should easily be able to use this kit for up to a few years before the chemicals included lose their effectiveness. The expiration date is on the kit box and on each bottle of solution. The glass test tubes that used to be included in this kit have been replaced by plastic ones. The glass tubes made cleaning up a breeze and were far better than the plastic ones that don't clean up as well. Also the 5ml fill line is a bit difficult to see on the plastic tubes. It was always inevitable though that you would eventually break a few glass tubes before you got through the 800 tests this kit can provide. They now just assume that by the time the plastic tubes get permanently stained, you'll be on to a new test kit with new tubes. While not a deal breaker, I prefered the glass tubes. Be sure you purchase the kit best suited for the tanks or ponds you keep. This kit is the freshwater version. This kit tests pH in two different ways. If you have ph generally higher than 7.4 you use the high pH test solution. If you have pH below 7.6 youll use the standard pH test kit. This is great of you are keeping multiple tanks with different pH levels or if your one tank tends to bounce around between 7.4 to 7.6. Once you figure out which test best suits your aquariums, youll likely not use the other solution. This kit tests for total ammonia using 2 solutions in one test. Ammonia is a very hazardous chemical to your fish and plants. Use this kit to keep these levels of ammonia at or near 0. This kit tests Nitrites using 1 solution. This is the second step in the nitrogen cycle. While not as harmful as ammonia, it's still something you should strive to get as close to 0 as possible.
