Colors are great and stand out

My coworker and I love these pens because the colors are bright and can be used on dark papers. We have each had a little trouble with one or the other of the pens not writing good.

These pens write on black! They’re InkJoy, so of course, they’re amazing. The colors are fantastic, they write really well, and are long-lasting.But most importantly? They *write on black*!

I love regular inkjoy gel pens and was excited to try this set of colored pens. They are comfortable to hold and have a slightly textured surface for a nice grip. They have the little tiny protectors on the tips that you will need to remove, and sometimes the ink takes a couple of seconds to start flowing smoothly. All of the colors wrote super smoothly, except the white is still skipping/streaking a lot even after a few minutes of use. It does help to write more slowly with the white!The ink does take a few seconds to dry or it will smudge easily, but overall this set has a great variety of colors and is perfect for journaling, doodling, or other writing crafts.

I'm not sure how best to describe these, but the ink writes much more like paint. They are fun to use and the colors are quite vibrant. The ink reminds me more of paint which I think is cool. I really like these pens, though I don't think I would use these for writing just anything but rather for something special/fun.

Very little ink! Shown is a brand new blue pen with a cheaper pen next to it. The difference in the amount of ink you get is incredible. I will never buy these again. The colors are pretty but they run out FAST! And if the ink happens to be improperly mixed (it usually is) then you're throwing away the pen even faster. Don't waste your money. Get the GETHPENs.

I love these pens like crazy. The opacity is great and they start writing almost as soon as I put them to paper. Sometimes they're a little scratchy, but not badly so. I love the colors, but the orange feels a little dull. More of a burnt orange than a bright orange. It looks better on black.

I got these Inkjoy Bright Gel pens from Paper Mate for drawing on black paper so this is my test I am posting. The paper I am using is 90 pound hot press no coating (it is matte, not glossy).Each pen has a tiny ball of plastic(?) on the tip to keep the ink from drying out. I learned it does not come off with just one flick. Make sure you get all of that tiny cap off before using the pen else the pen will not work well. I think mine might have melted on because these pens arrived on a very hot day. Anyway, after removing that tip, scribble a little bit to get the ink flowing. After that, the pens work great. They are super smooth to write with and they put out a LOT of ink for a little pen tip. The ink actually looks a lot like very vibrant paint. Like paint, this ink also needs time to dry. It will smear if you touch it immediately.I love these pens and they will certainly brighten up some of the dark drawings I have been making!
