High-Dose Ubiquinol with Bonus Ingredients for Better Absorption
I've been taking DRFOSTER's CoQ10 Ubiquinol 200mg for a little over a month now, and I'm pretty satisfied with it so far. What stood out to me was not just the higher dose of Ubiquinol (the active form of CoQ10), but also the added Vitamin E, PQQ, and black pepper extract for absorption—it's a well-thought-out formula.I can’t say I feel an immediate difference like with caffeine or other stimulants, but I’ve noticed slightly improved energy levels throughout the day, especially during the afternoon slump. It also seems to help with recovery after workouts. I mainly started taking it for cardiovascular and general cellular health, and this version feels more complete than some of the standalone CoQ10 options I’ve tried in the past. The softgels are easy to swallow and don’t leave a weird aftertaste. The bottle comes with about 4 months worth of softgels, which is a generous amount and should last a while. Overall, if you're looking for a more bioavailable form of CoQ10 with extra antioxidant support, this is worth considering.

Good quality and only one softgel serving size
I was using another product that provided 100mg of Ubiquinol and decided to up the amount, and Dr. Fosters product fit the requirement. I always try to find supplements that are one serving size and easy/small to swallow. These soft gels work well and have black pepper for maximum absorption.

Would Be Excellent Product if Not for Excessive, Unnecessary, Vitamin E (300%)
A physician told me that he took very few supplements but among them was CoQ10. He recommended that I look into doing the same. I decided to order this product from this company based on his advice—based, too, on what seems to be Dr Foster’s CoQ10 dosage, and the fact that the Dr Foster’s brand claims third-party testing and are manufactured in the US. However, I can’t continue to take this supplement because it has too much vitamin E in it for me to be assured that it has more benefits than risks. Since receiving the product, I have done a cursory look into vitamin E supplementation and can’t figure out why this anti-oxidant, at 300% of the RDA, is included with the CoQ10. For me, the inclusion of this much vitamin E makes me have to search for another source of CoQ10. Too bad, since so much about the Dr. Foster’s brand is appealing, including the fact that these pills are in soft gel form.Vitamin E is oil-based. It therefore accumulates in one’s body unlike water-based vitamins (such as B) that are routinely flushed out. There are concerns with taking too much vitamin E if you have bleeding conditions, a history or tendency toward heart attack or stroke. Additionally, if you have issues with liver disease or head or neck cancers or even diabetes, excess vitamin E is likely not helpful. There are correlations between excessive amounts of vitamin E and prostate cancer—and there are known interactions with common medications such as statins, vitamin K and niacin. While vitamin E toxicity occurs at higher levels than 300% per day, I prefer not to take any supplement in such excess. And, because I take a daily vitamin with a bit of vitamin E in it, as well, I would need to give up other supplementation to take this one.In the US we usually get enough vitamin E in food. Perhaps taking this Dr Foster supplement every other day would be a way to moderate the level of excess vitamin E, but I am choosing not to take this supplement because of the unnecessary 300% included vitamin in the mix and the potential for undesirable blood thinning in my case.

Very good product.
During the past year I started adding CoQ10 to my supplement regimen. I have no doubt that it's having a positive impact on my health. Sometimes after taking a dose I feel a slight increase in energy and a noticeable increase in my sense of wellbeing. Not surprisingly, a 200mg serving appears to be more effective than 100mg serving. What's been even more pronounced is the difference in effectiveness of different types of CoQ10. I find that the CoQ10 gel caps are more effective than the capsules. This has been my experience. This may not be the case for other people, but it's one of the main reasons that I was excited to try this Dr. Foster CoQ10.I like this formulation, and I like that the serving size is one gel cap. Besides 200mg of CoQ10, this supplement has 45mg of Vitamin E per serving. It also has phytosterols, PQQ and black pepper extract. One of the things I really like is that the gel caps have MCT from coconut oil and also organic olive oil. I think having these high quality fats with the CoQ10 is probably why gel caps may be more effective than powder in capsules. I also like that they're non-GMO, gluten free, soy free and third party tested. All of this adds up to a quality supplement at a good price. Assuming you take one gel cap per day, you're getting a three month supply for $20.99. That's the listed price at the time of my writing this review. It's certainly a reasonable price for what you're getting. I'm looking forward to taking these. I'm not sure why the label on the bottle pictured in the listing says 119 soft gels. The label on the bottle that I received does indeed say 120 soft gels. I'll update the review down the line if there's anything interesting to report.

Effective and Easy to Swallow
This seems to be a high quality CoQ10 and with added supplements for extra benefits. I think it is a good value for the money and great for blood pressure issues. It is easy to take and swallow with no bad taste or smell. It seems to be effective in helping with blood pressure issues to some degree.
