Worked for my two male cats!!!
Exceeded my expectations!!! Ok so like all of you fur baby parents, when our kitties are not acting as they usually do, we get very concerned. My 14 year old male and my 5 year old male have always had a harmonious relationship. A week or so ago things changed and I had no clue as to why. My older cat was suddenly acting very skittish, anxious and would run for cover under the bed when ever the younger cat would walk into the room or walk towards him. This would cause the younger cat to chase him as it seemed it was playtime. The younger cat was not being aggressive and at times, wanted to play (which they always did). I was very confused and called my vet. We discussed a few scenarios as to why the sudden change in behavior as I did not witness anything between the two. He suggested a "Calming Collar". I had never heard of this (I had heard of calming difussors and did not experience good luck with those in the very distant past in regard to previous cat who passed and litter box issues. I decided to try these. LET ME TELL YOU WITHIN 2 HOURS...TOTALLY DIFFERENT BEHAVIORS....My older cat seemed less anxious thus he wasn't running away for no reason thus my younger cat wasn't trying to chase him (like it was a game). It has been 24 hours and things are pretty much back to normal. IU am so relieved!!! Now I know this may not work for every cat or every situation, but it is not a major investment and worth a try. I am sooooo glad I did. The collars are generous in size (my younger cat is 22 pounds and my older cat is 10 pounds) and the smell is pleasant. The collars are adjustable and I see no safety issues as you can cut to size. The calming effect as I mentioned was pretty immediate. I can't attest to durability as it has only been 24 hours, but I see no reason why they will not last the 30 day as directed. It was great that it was a 4 pack so 60 days for 2 cats until I need another 4 pack. It is 20 dollars well spent :)

TWO THOUSAND STARS!
I have a six year old spayed, female cat adopted when she was about five weeks old who has always been a bit on the nasty side, even though she has been loved and treated like my other pets— with great love and kindness. Lately, she had begun attacking my other adopted male cat (neutered at the appropriate age) who is a very sweet, lovable cat, and he has never done anything to provoke her, or stop her. She got to the point she would just walk up and bite him, swipe him with her paw, and had begun to bite me when I was stroking her as she sat in my lap. Out of desperation, I searched the Internet and found this collar at Amazon, and decided to give it a try. Within 10 minutes of putting it on her, she was becoming more relaxed and easy-going. After an hour had passed, she allowed the male cat to walk past her without attacking him.. It’s been five days now, and there is peace and harmony in my house! I also ordered the spray that this company makes but I didn’t have that for three days, so I know it was this collar, but the spray just adds another level of calmness. It worked so well for my cat whom my named Tiger, because she’s more like that than a cat, that I urged my daughter to get it for her adopted cat, who constantly meowed no matter how much you petted her, fed her, or were sweet to her. (These are indoor pets too-I don’t even go outside). She also yowled in the night, upsetting their two dogs. Within about an hour of putting it on that cat, she stopped meowing, and she has been calm and so much quieter, not even meowing at all for the past four days. I don’t know what is in the collar or spray, but I do know we cannot be without it. It is life-changing, and that is not an exaggeration. My situation was so bad I thought about rehoming my cat, something I have never done with any of my adopted animals over the years. If you have a problematic, aggressive, scratching, (and that could be furniture or you,) cat, please consider giving this a try. You may be shocked like I was because I didn’t think anything could make my cat be less aggressive to the point that she’s not even aggressive at all anymore. She has even stopped scratching on my expensive sofa and chairs, She’s just happy and so am I.

Works as stated. Calmer cats
We have four cats. Of these four, two are very feisty toward one another and they are wearing these now. It's been roughly a month they've had them on. The collars took a little while to start to work (over a week). Our bully cat has become much sweeter and has been antagonizing much less. Our gray guy hasn't been issuing any warning growls lately either at her. I do not like how these were made though because the way they close makes me nervous. If they get caught on something, they could theoretically tighten and become a problem. A lot of disposable collars are like this. I'm going to try the plug in diffusers next.

Great price but a paradoxical collar
These calming collars work just as good as the $20/2 pack, which I'm happy about. However, they come with their own issues, one of which is minor, but the other which is a bigger core issue. First up, the small issue: This collar's smell is STRONG when you first open the packet. The smell isn't a big deal for me, but it might be for others. There's a strong lavender smell, one that reminds me of lavender aspercreme lidocaine pain rub. I don't mind the smell and it's only super strong the first few days, but it might be really intense to others. Now for the big issue: These collars are "breakaway" in design, but they "breakaway" at the slightest tugging. My cat isn't even collar-averse; just her grooming herself will pull the end out of the 'cinch' loop, and the little rubber band they provide to "fix" this issue doesn't help. When the collar end is free, she chews on it because it's annoying to her, and it's annoying for me to have to fix her collar every couple of hours. Like, what's the point of putting an anxiety collar on her if it won't stay on and causes anxiety for both of us when it's falling apart??? I was able to make this work by sticking a safety pin through the collar to secure it, which was easy as it's a very malleable material. It's a pretty similar material to those "Live Strong" rubber bracelets from the 00's but with a more jelly-bracelet kind of feel, if that gives you an idea of the material composition. Once I pinned it, it's stayed on like a dream. I've been keeping a close eye on my kitty to make sure she doesn't pop open the safety pin, but so far (about a week now) it's been okay. Other than these two issues, the collars have been great for reducing her anxiety when they've been able to work properly! She's a lot calmer, has greatly reduced her stress-grooming, and doesn't pick at her skin until it bleeds. She's also clearly sleeping better and just generally more relaxed. Ultimately, pretty happy with the price and the results, but the issues with the collar staying on is a major hassle.

Beware!
We got a new kitty a couple of months ago from a friend that couldn’t keep her. She is rather young, almost 3 years old. We already had 4 others, ranging from 7 to 12 years old. Young kitty decided that she didn’t like the others and began attacking them, especially our two males. The older one would just hide or spend most of his time on the couch with me. The younger one was afraid to go to the kitty pans and started urinating in inappropriate places. We love the new kitty and don’t want to rehome her as she’s been passed around a lot, so I started investigating on line. I found these collars and read the reviews, which were mostly positive. The negatives were mostly about the collar not staying on, which did turn out to be a problem. They have a quick release to prevent the kitty from getting hung up and hurt on anything, which is a good idea, but they come off too easily. She had it off in about 5 minutes. Other reviews mentioned putting a safety pin through the collar to keep it from coming off so easily, but that defeats the safety feature. Anyway I put the safety pin through and it stayed on, but I worried about it constantly coming loose and stabbing her. The next morning I got the next collar and a couple of tie wraps and put those around the collar strap to keep it from releasing too quickly. It seemed to work and has been on her for several days. What I didn’t realize was that the collar was stretching from her scratching at it and she got it stuck in her mouth. She couldn’t get it free or close her mouth. Fortunately I saw it and cut it off before it broke her jaw or hurt her some other way. To be fair, it did seem to calm her down but I feel it’s too dangerous to risk it. I’ve also been giving her some Sentry calming treats that seem to help and our vet has just prescribed some kitty Prozac. We haven’t started those yet. As I said, we love the new kitty and don’t want to give up on her, but we don’t want to hurt her either. I’m hoping she just needs some time to adjust to the other cats. I know that some people would say that she’s just a cat and not worth the effort, but we love our cats. They are our family and friends. I would think that anyone reading these reviews understands how much you can care about a pet. If not, I feel sorry for you.

Pursuit of Serenity Amidst the Whirlwind of Playful Mischief
[see update at the end!!!! great news] We were initially astounded by the efficacy of the calming collars, to the extent that we promptly placed a second double order. Our household is inhabited by two male (13 lb each) spirited three-year-old feline companions, colloquially referred to as the "forces of darkness." These perpetual playmates, resembling 24-hour detectives on a quest for the Holy Grail, invariably finding their way into every box, closet, nook and cranny. During the inaugural month, the collars exhibited exceptional effectiveness, prompting us to return the unopened vibrating-zap-sound collars— because the Calming Collars endeavor transformed our living space from a daily World Wide Wrestling ring back into their lounging and loving pets that respect your daughter's glass collection from her lifetime of vacation collecting (hint hint!). Despite being littermates, their penchant for mischief (and wrestling, chasing, play fighting-got them fixed at 6 weeks old..perpetual kitten stage!) seemed to reduce in intensity , but intensify during the subsequent month. The calming collars continued to yield positive results for the first two weeks of the second month, adhering to the recommended 30-day replacement schedule, but... Regrettably, our optimism was curtailed when the effects waned after the two-week mark, during the second month. A fresh set of collars from a new pack provided only one additional week of efficacy, a stark departure from the initial month of commendable performance. It appears that the animals may develop a tolerance to the calming collars over time. In light of our experience, we recommend purchasing this product, but with adopting a cautious approach by allowing a one to two-week interval between each month of usage. It is worth noting that our feline companions, aged three years and weighing in at 13 pounds each, may have contributed to the observed variance in effectiveness. Despite this, when the collars were at the height of their efficacy, the results were truly remarkable. After a fortnight siesta, the collars bounced back to stardom, delivering results that made us feel like we'd just discovered fire – or at least a really great taco place. So, note to self: let your cat take a break from the collars for a week or two after each 30 day usage before you open up another fresh collar. And get this – I didn't toss out the questionable, half-used collars that we were not sure were not working or it was the power of the male “forces of darkness” power fighting the collars power over them! Oh no, not this budget savvy mother, I treated them like the last slice of pizza in the fridge, vacuum-sealed them, and voila! They were back in action, acting fresher than a dad joke at a family gathering. Guess what? Even these male sumo wrestlers had no qualms about a second collar encounter either. It's like they were saying, "Bring it on, round two!" And as for those pampered indoor farm cats? Well, let's just say they went from "What's this thing around my neck?" to "Fashion icon in the barnyard" in record time. Collars: turning wild parkour stunt detectives into catwalk models, one fur-ball at a time!

Amazing product! Worth every cent!
Although pricey, the calming collar is worth every cent. I was very skeptical, but after reading reviews I decided to give it a try on our 3 and 1/2-year-old orange Tabby girl with golden eyes. She had become moody and sometimes aggressive towards other cats in the house and sometimes the humans. She wanted to be petted, but she would change her mind, and even bit us sometimes. I couldn't figure out any big changes that had happened in the home that would cause her behavior. I purchased the box of calming collars and took one out to try it on her. It smelled very pleasant, and it was easy to put on her even though she had never had a collar on before. About a week went by before I began to notice any change in her. And then suddenly there she was again - our sweet, playful little girl. She wanted cuddles and loving and pretty much non-stop without any attitude at all. Not convinced it was all due to the collar, I removed it for a few days and her negative behaviors began to return so I put a new collar on her because it was time, and she has been her sweet self again now for 2 weeks. This has been a huge behavior adjustment, and such an easy way to fix the problem. I'm going to order some for my other female cat to see if she will stop being so dramatic. (I wonder could these work on people? Lol!) An unexpected bonus the collar offers is that it glows in the dark and makes it much easier to see kitties so they don't get stepped on at night. THANK YOU! UPDATE 3-2025 THESE COLLARS ARE AMAZING! They last longer than recommended, and they have been life-changing for our cats. If you have any doubts, just buy them.

Check reviews before buying
The collars were aesthetically pleasing, but unfortunately, they failed to deliver the desired results, as my cat continued to urinate in undesirable locations. Although the glow-in-the-dark feature is intriguing, I would not recommend this product. They are user-friendly and safe but not priced competitively to buy.
