Works with 4K 120Hz HDR from PC
Works fully with a PC, signal output from a RTX 4090 at 4K 120Hz 10 or 12bit RGB, including HDR and Dolby Atmos audio. The fiber optic cable and the lack of a fat HDMI plug is definitely easier to run long distances than a typical HDMI cable.Note: Not sure if isolated to my setup with a S90D OLED, but the CEC issue with Samsung TV's is present, whereby when plugging in the HDMI dongle will interfere with CEC volume control on/off control of other devices such as HDMI eARC soundbar. When you unplug the HDMI dongle, the other devices kick back in for those functions. Dealing with it by putting the microUSB power plug at the display end behind a smart plug, and turning it off when I don't use my PC

Works very well, minor caveat
This thing worked great. I have my computer about 85-90’ away from my office (basement to 2nd floor) because it outputs too much heat—makes the office too toasty. Used to use HMDI over Ethernet extenders, but their durability was inconsistent. I tried another 100’ HDMI cable that claimed to be also fiber optic, but it wouldn’t even do 2K reliably. I think an HDMI run that long simply needs to be powered, which the other cable wasn’t.This RUIPRO cable seems to be the real deal—I get 4K at 60 Hz with ease. Pulls through conduit pretty easy too. Worth all the money, at least so far.I will note that it does seem to have a bit of a handshaking issue with my monitor (Samsung U32J590UQN) where I have to cycle inputs after the computer wakes up from sleep.

Great cable and the detachable heads were a game changer for me
All my equipment is about 80 feet from my Samsung Frame TV. I have been using HDMI over Ethernet because it wasn’t possible to get a full size HDMI cable through the holes and tight spaces over that 80 feet. The problem with the HDMI over Ethernet is that I periodically got black screens when I watched 4k video (even though I had a top end 4k HDBase T system). Then I came across this product and because of the detachable heads, I was able to get the cable to the needed destination. The picture is amazing - I now realize how much degradation I have been getting with the HDMI over Ethernet because my picture now is so much better! As an aside, the build quality appears top notch and the packaging was very nice.I did have one issue, but it was fully “user error” and thanks to the terrific customer support of the seller, I quickly fixed the problem. When I initially connected the cable I got a “no signal” error message. I contacted Ruipro and they immediately identified the issue - I had the HDMI heads reversed, i.e., while the cable is bi-directional, the HDMI head (CLEARLY) marked “ “Display” needs to be connected to the TV and the HDMI head marked “Source”needs to be connected to my Denon AVR - duh!One thing to note about support is that the company is based in Europe and so support comes during European hours. I point this out only to manage expectations. However, the support for me was IMMEDIATELY as soon as Europe opened and the back and forth after the initial support was very quick. The bottom line is that the cable and the company service are both fantastic!

A much-needed update for my long 55 ft HDMI run through the walls for my projector.
I was a little worried buying this considering I've gone through many HDMI cables that have degraded over time. Decided I wanted to go with a fiber optic option but with a little iffy if it would break while I ran the cable through the walls. Completed all the connections everything ran perfectly. It was a 55-ft run that I did with a 65 ft cable to go to my projector. Very happy with The lossless sound and picture quality over that long run no dropouts.

Excellent solution to a long-run high-resolution problem.
These were exactly what I wanted. I have a long behind-the-wall run of HDMI needed for my 4k projector and no matter what high data-rate 8k cable I put back there I would still get artifact "sparkles" in my image which were noticeable in dark scenes. I must have run and re-run 3 different cables before finding these. This is the first time I have clean black image on my screen when running top data rate HDR 4k sources. I'm blown away since these cables have been by far the thinest and easiest to run through the wall conduit! Highly recommend.

Very Weak Signal
The dongle and fiber cable together work out to over 3 inches long, which means they won't fit behind most TVs. Despite being powered, the signal they produce is so weak that ANY cable or adapter in line will cause it to have intermittent signal at 4K60, with continuous drops to black screen. I've ensured that the cables and adapters I've tried are HDMI 2.1 and well rated and I've tried three different ones from different manufacturers and different form factors, but all of them eventually run into the same intermittent black screen problem. With the screen taken off the wall so the cable can directly connect it works fine.If you don't need 4K60 or you have plenty of room for a massive connector to stick out, then you may not run into this issue. If both of those are true then it will be a huge waste of time and money. That is not acceptable from an expensive, powered HDMI cable.

Works for high end MadVR and Barco Projector setup! Highly recommend!
I went through 3 other fiber cables before finding this one that worked flawlessly. I have a very high end home theater, with a 5K projector, MadVR, and Kaleidescape system, and the integrator and I struggled to find a cable that could handle what the MadVR was pushing (48Gbps HDMI 2.1) over 50'. Someone online recommended this cable and we plugged it in and it worked immediately. This cable was 1/4 the price of the "super high end" cable that the manufacturer recommended, and worked way better. I can't recommend this cable enough!
