Better than the original!
The hinged lip has broken off twice now (from nightly use), first from the OEM, then from a generic replacement, BUT this new one, just purchased, has the leading lip molded integrally to the base (a single, solid molded piece of plastic), so while it may not bend with my featureless floor, it certainly will NOT break off before the vacuum itself fails 👍
