Not sure who thought this design up, but be forewarned that you will have little orange pieces all over your house post playtime. Would have been better if the bullets were all in one piece. Needless to say while my son loved it, but it went out to the black bin in the garage (aka trash) after a few months. Also be forewarned the gun actually resembles a real gun.

Where was this when I was a kid? This is lots of fun. Blowback in a toy is just cool. It feels very fragile though. so I would not recommend for a small child.

It’s great for costume purposes, but it doesn’t work very well. Jams often, or doesn’t shoot. Nice quality and looks real, save for the orange barrel. I think I would rather get one from the store so that exchanges or returns are much easier.

Pretty interesting functional design. The little pellets click into their casing and eject when the slide slams forward, be prepared to lose them at some point as they are very small. It's a nice tactile action when operating but the housing feels like it'll break at any moment with how lightweight it is. Still, it's held up pretty well but I'm already down a pellet.

Super cool gun with all pieces included. The gun did break a few days of use. Not sure if it was from excessive use or poor quality.
