Update! I am super impressed with the customer service. I was contacted immediately after writing the review below and they took care of me, sent me a new one just a couple of days later and it just arrived today. It works great and I am thrilled with the customer service. If only every product had such great customer care. Changing my review to five stars. Thank you! Pretty good case. I ordered it months ago and just started using it this week. The problem is that right out of the box the N key only works if you basically pound your finger on it. It’s really frustrating and I missed the window to return it so I guess I have to keep pounding on the keyboard and hope it fixes itself . Not cool. I do like the lighted keyboard and the pencil holder on top.

Love this case so much!!! It has so many capabilities that make it so useful! Typing is easy and it looks just like a computer. I will definitely be recommending it to my friends with tablets!

Excellent product, except I have to agree with complaints about the weight it added to the iPad. Although I won’t ding it any stars for the weight because I knew what I was getting into when I purchased. None of these keyboard cases are “lightweight” to be honest and add weight to the iPad. Yes, you can spend nearly $400 and get the Apple product and save SOME weight, but it is added weight nonetheless. With that said, the only lag I have found (which seems to be a complaint) is when the keyboard goes into sleep mode if left turned on. And yes, it makes it a little difficult to “find” the cursor, and get it moving, when using the trackpad to “wake” the keyboard up, that is super minor if you realize that it takes time for it to wake up and re-establish the Bluetooth connection. Again, it is not the $400 Apple keyboard that doesn’t use Bluetooth and never goes to “sleep” because it is hardware connected and uses the iPad battery for its power. The keys of the Type Case are well spaced for a guy with big mitts and are above average for their tactile feedback compared to others I’ve used on previous versions of iPads I have owned. Love the backlit keyboard colors and use the rotating color scheme on mine; although some colors are better than others at seeing the keys in low light situations. The Apple Pencil charging location is nice and protects the pencil from being knocked off the iPad. And I utilize the soft pencil holder for when the pencil is fully charged and I’m not using it; like when watching a movie or checking out YouTube videos. I cannot speak to the case’s protection capabilities because I haven’t dropped it and work hard to make sure I don’t because the case doesn’t appear to be capable of withstanding any kind of real fall, but I’m basing that on appearances only. Overall well worth the money and would purchase again if needed. I’ve used this product now for a little over a month and if there is any complaint, it is how stiff the hinge is when trying to open/close the keyboard, but if it wasn’t stiff, it probably wouldn’t hold up the iPad in various positions.

Works great! Easy to use and connects great with my new iPad. It’s a little heavier than I’d hoped for, but otherwise it has been awesome.

Got this keyboard case for my new IPad Pro 13 inch M5. Fits perfectly. It’s very sturdy and holds many positions in place. Has 2 places to hold my iPad pen. Easy to connect too. Battery life lasts long too. Highly recommend!

It was fine out the box, but it definitely has the cheap plastic feel. Granted, it did keep my iPad secured and had no problems with connectivity. However my reason for returning this product is that the keyboard is defective, specifically the N key. I have trouble with the N key registering when I type and it’s very annoying that I have to push it down so hard the N key finally registers. It feels like the scissor mechanism for the key is stuck. I saw a few couple of reviews having the same problem and got theirs replaced however I will just return mine and save for the magic keyboard instead. Overall, if you’re in a tight bind but need a keyboard case this one should suffice if you’re willing to take the 50/50. If not, get something different.

This type case is the best. I really love it! The backlit keyboard has different colors, and you can adjust the brightness using the shortcut keys. The mouse pad allows you to navigate around with minimal use of the touch screen. The shortcut keys across the top of the keyboard is synced to your iPad so you have options to adjust screen brightness, video and music player controls, keyboard light color and brightness, etc. The overall weight is mostly the weight of the iPad so it’s not adding a bulk of weight. There is no lag between the case and the iPad so the speed is great, and it my iPad perfectly.
