Kaco KALOR Mechanical Pencil Refills, 36 Color Set, 72 Pieces

I was very excited to finally find refills. I did not want to buy a whole set for one color. They arrived promptly, in good shape, and no broken leads(as far as I could tell) . When I opened the box and looked inside, it definitely did not look like 72 pieces, but upon further inspection, there are 2 leads per little container, each one taped closed.

It is great to have refills (2 of each of the 36 colors in their own numbered tubes), so the Kaco KALOR mechanical pencils will last beyond the leads they come with. The leads are high quality, with rich pigment. They are packaged to avoid breakage, in the pencils and the refills. I have not had a single lead break yet, and I use firm pressure about half the time. Not a single lead has broken.The leads are what I would call a medium soft, easy to use. I love how the spare leads are protected from breakage, and extremely easy to insert into the pencil when the original lead has been used up. Pull off the colored cap, insert the lead in the sleeve, slide it down, put the cap back on, and click until the lead appears, sharpen as necessary with the sharpeners (2) provided with the original mechanical pencils. Functionality doesn't get any easier :)

It took over a year for them to get these refills, but I’m glad they did. Definitely got my pencils and now I got the refills as well.

I love these colored leads! I was so happy to see the refills and grabbed 2 boxes right off the bat. I am sad theyre an odd sized, so i cant use them in a standard lead holder, the whole kit feels like a waste of plastic, but the leads themselves are soft without being mushy and beatifully vibrant! Theyre pretty opaque too, able to layer well. Dont expect yellow or white to go over like acrylics or prismas, but it shows up abit. They last a good while too, i still havent needed to use any of the refills yet.

These work great with the pencils they are meant to replace.

I love the face that they even thought to do something like this and make them available and not just make the mechanical coloring pencil and once you use it you have to buy another one to replace it.

I love that you can get more leads for these pencils. These come in very handy.

Sooooo happy to have refills for these! But beware, if you are trying to make your own multi pencil using the pentell super 8 , these don't fit, they are a weird diameter. My cheap callipers say they are 2.6mm
