This was everything that I’ve been searching for in an ACTUAL waterproof liquid eyeliner! Since Maybelline discontinued its waterproof Ultra Liner, I haven’t been able to find anything to match its formula. Thank God I found this new liner though. I will say that I love it even more than maybelline’s because it’s not a bristle brush. I’ve never seen an applicator like this. I don’t think it’s a felt material either. But the applicator allows you to paint a FLAWLESS line. I was a professional makeup artist for many years, have painted the “cat-eye” wings forever…& this makes that technique sooo much easier.My only criticism would be the size, it’s very much on the small side. I really like this eyeliner. I don't wear a lot of makeup and prefer a natural look. I scoured Amazon but struggled to find a brush tip, brown eye liner that would stay on with my sensitive watery eyes. I find the felt tip liners don't go on smoothly or go on too thick. I returned several that said brush tip but were actually felt tip. This is a true fine brush liner that goes on smoothly and stays on all day. Bonus that it comes in brown. It's my new favorite and I will buy again.

A nice liquid liner but the color is not the best for me. My mistake, I would choose a different shade next time. The consistency is good and there is enough pigment that coverage is not an issue. Price is good as well.

I used Maybaline Ultra Liner since the late sixties , which was a cake liner. As a liquid it was a great eyeliner. This essence liner is the best. The brush gives me a perfect line each time. Easy to clean mistakes. I can tear all day, however it does not bleed. Liner easy to remove with water. I am very happy with quality. This is my everyday liner.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Takes too long to dry, so beware if you have hooded eyes. Also doesn't stay on, smears easy, too watery. Not a good buy at all.

I'm used to using the Maybelline liquid eyeliner. I think they discontinued it. This has worked well for a replacement. Not used in heat so can't say if it would last under those conditions but foe the cost it's a nice product.

I had great hopes for this eyeliner, because the mascara is really fabulous. But I cannot recommend the eyeliner because the liner brush was stiff. The brush should have been soft and flexible. Disappointed.

An eyeliner that knows what his job is. Truly black, truly thick, so you don’t have to retouch later or flake. It’s wonderful and I recommended it as I use it a lot.
