What I notice about this product in comparison to Lancome skin care products I have used consistently for the past 2 decades. After the 3rd use I can notice the change. The best way to use this, lather and put on your skin, face, neck, hands, ect... let it stay on for 2-5 minutes than gently remove with water leaving a light residue of the product on the skin. Now in my opinion this is the important part. With a light layer of the product left of the face, using your fingers rub up/down & circular motion on your skin like your rolling off dead skin. This is the top layer of the dead cells that causes wrinkles, sunspots, dark spots, dryness. Again, when I initially rinse the product, I leave a light layer of product on my skin to make it easier to rub & exfoliate the top dead cells on my face, neck, hands( I also used it on my elbows, knees & armpits, 4 bars for $20 is a great deal & I'm willing to buy more since I had awesome results). What I learned about skincare as I get older especially on my face. It's constantly being exposed to environmental elements, sun damage, make-up, my pillow, hard water. By exfoliating my face once a week with a good moisturizer( I used Lancome Absolue Rich or Soft Cream $280 or coconut oil. Dont use a moisturizer with alcohol or Parfums cause it will irritate your skin). It's important to moisturize afterwards cause this product just removed dead cell skin & moisturizer is key! At 45 my skin looks amazing but I had these light sunspots and dry dead skin that causes aging. Not super noticeable but noticeable to me on my cheek bone area and around my eyes. I not only focus on my face but my entire body especially the neck and hands cause those are the areas women tend to neglect and are aging giveaways with sunspots, wrinkles. Also I'd recommend doing this at night before bed to allow your skin to heal vs. going out in the elements wind, sun, humidity and exposing your newly clean sensitive skin to damage causing activities. Again my opinion simply because this bar soap removed the top layer of skin leaving the underlaying of skin, the soft, sumple, fresh layer of skin that gives you the glow & youthfulness we all want.Also I know this is weird but don't do it around your menstrual period time. Why? As a women our hormones are crazy and I know I break out around my chin area. You definitely don't want to irritate your skin while your hormones aka acne period are the cause for a short time of the month. This can cause bacteria around your pimples, break & scratch the skin, leaving scars or marks. Again my own opinion but it works for me cause my hormones cause me to have acne plus I have Lupus and I get butterfly like rash on my face over my nose bridge & cheeksHope my review helps but definitely a good buy!

Ive been using this soap on my face & body for roughly three weeks. I lather as much as possible and let it sit about a minute beforerinsing off. My face has gotten lighter and my hyperpigmentation has improved. My knees & elbows are lightening up too but not as fast as I would like. My skin is smoother and its brought down the strawberry skin too. It does make your skin a bit dryer so I follow up with a good oil and body moisturizer. For my face I ensure to use a good essence lotion, strong hylauronic acid, rich moisturizer and face oil. Other than the slight dryness, its really good. My only negative comment is that the bar should be bigger.

So I was going to wait a lil bit before writing a review but I’ve had I’ll go ahead and write one now and another down the line after some more use. I’ve been using this twice a day for about a week now so I haven’t had any major changes or fading yet but I do want to say that I love the way it makes me feel, it leaves my skin soft and just a very clean feeling. I’m a makeup girl and I use makeup remover and this after and it gets all the left over makeup off with no problem! It doesn’t dry out my skin or anything and I feel like it has already given my skin a healthy glow to it, nothing dramatic so far but I do enjoy it and although I don’t expect drastic life changing effects I do believe that it will improve my skins texture and uneven tone after some time using it. I suffered from hormonal acne for many many years leaving scars and uneven skin tone, I have a lot of dark spots so we shall see how it goes.. I will update in a few months, but so far so good, I really like this product and even if it doesn’t wow me with results on skin tone I’ll buy it again.. I just love how clean it makes my skin feel!

I bought this back in February and have been using this everyday since. I didn’t, but should have taken pictures for a before and after comparison. After 4 pregnancies, the darkened skin on my arm pits never lightened up. With recent weight gain, I noticed darkened skin under my breasts as well. I have tried different creams for my armpits over the years but none have worked for me. I am just the unfortunate few, where things that work miraculously for everyone else, never works for me!I didn’t notice immediate results but continued using this soap daily in the shower with my problem areas. After the first bar, I slowly started seeing my armpits and the area under my breasts lighten! I am nearing the end of my second bar which I just re-ordered. I’m looking forward to how much more this soap can help lighten up my problem areas! Definite must try!

I’m gonna be honest, I used this product for about three months and did not notice much of a difference in the dark spots. Not sure if it was my skin or the ingredients in the soap but I had to stop using it due to its drying properties. My skin would be so dry immediately after using that it actually started to irritate my skin and leave these smaller patches of hyperpigmentation that weren’t there prior to starting the use of the soap. Even after using moisturizer, it just wasn’t helping with the dark spots for me. I did enjoy the scent and the lather but that’s about as far as I can say I would recommend the soap. I got through the first bar but ended up throwing the second bar away mid way through it. I more than likely wouldn’t purchase this again.
