£48 reduced from £60 at time of reviewI’m in the process of upgrading my home network with Cat 7 cables and 2.5Gbps adapters on my computers and NAS so needed to swap out my old 1G switch, wow what a difference! Most of the time I’m just connecting to the internet (which is a 1Gig connection via Three, which I can’t recommend enough!).Anyway this thing is brilliant, no bottle necks, full 1G to the internet and a noticeable difference connecting to my NAS, everything just worked seamlessly and so fast. Streaming my Plex & Jellyfin at full res has been no problem, and backing up my computers and working off the NAS has been a dream come true, super happy with this switch, highly recommend!Hope my review was helpful

I can't speak to the longevity of this switch yet but it does get noticeably warm to the touch during use. Not an issue so far though and it's not dangerously hot. Given that it's quite compact though that's a fine trade-off.It's good value for the 8 port version I got and reaches the advertised speed. Doesn't cause any link speed negotiation issues. No noise, plug and play, as an unmanaged switch should be.

Ok so upgraded from cheaper hubs to these. Throughout is great and haven’t had an issue with them once installed, just do their job well. However they are switched and not hubs, so connecting two together via an Ethernet cable (one house and one at t bottom of the garden in the shed) didn’t work. Had to include a hub on the end of the cable on the shed end. Well built and function well. Now running 4 of these.

Nice, small hub. Really convenient as it sits on my desk and allows me to plug in and out random PCs I work with.I like that it is small, white, silent and relatively cheap. A more industrial one or a metalic one on my desk would be too distracting. Works at full 2.5GbE speed.

This is the best switch I've ever had in my entire life. My previous one constantly throttled the speeds, sometimes dropping all the way down to 50–60 Mbps. But this one holds a stable, maximum speed at all times. I only regret that I don’t need more of them—because it's the best of the best

Works great just had 1GB internet installed and need to upgrade a very old 100 MB switch. This is one is amazing plug and play sooo easy to set up worked immediately.
