Van Heusen Men's Pinpoint Solid Shirt

This is an excellent quality dress shirt. It is wrinkle resistant so I don't need to iron it. After washing, I lightly dry it and put it on a hanger to dry the rest of the way. The size fits perfectly. The neck and sleeves are just right. I wear it as a work shirt and to church because it is a real dress shirt. Very classy and professional looking. The cotton/poly blend keeps it from wrinkling but it doesn't get too hot because it has the right about of cotton in it. I highly recommend this shirt and this brand. I have it in the white shirt as well. My go to brand for dress shirts and Amazon has the best price on them.

I've had bad luck trying to buy dress shirts sight-unseen, but I took a chance with this shirt. In a word, outstanding!. Perfect fit in the neck, sleeves, and around my chest - the fabric is a cotton blend which is nice and smooth, the white is a brilliant white, the buttons work, and it is more or less, pretty much wrinkle-free - just needed a minor ironing out of the package. The price is right (can you believe dress shirts at over $150 these days?). I'll be purchasing additional shirts from this company in the very near future. Thank you.

The product received was good quality and a very fine dress shirt. My problem was the packaging. The shirt was doubled over on itself in a small plastic bag. Absolutely pathetic.

I've been dieting and losing a lot of weight, so I needed to buy new dress shirts for work. As the selection here is better than the individual stores I shop at, I like to buy my shirts on Amazon. (Their easy clothing return policy is a key point that lets me be comfortable ordering shirt types and sizes I haven't seen in person.) I like a traditional, crisp, button-down look so I found several brands that offered that style and ordered one of each. While all of them were more-or-less adequate, this shirt, the Van Heusen Men's Pinpoint Regular Fit, is my favorite. It fits me well; I have a long torso and this shirt is long enough that it doesn't pull out from dress pants after sitting for awhile. I like the feel of the material. (I prefer pinpoint fabric as opposed to twill or broadcloth in my dress shirts.) It's attractive and wears well throughout the day without a lot of wrinkling (another benefit of pinpoint). The price here is also very reasonable for a good work dress shirt. My only complaint, and it's a purely personal one, is that until about 20 years ago, the next little town down from where I grew up used to have a Van Heusen shirt factory in it. But it closed, good people lost their jobs, and the work went overseas. The people working there were not getting rich by any stretch of the imagination, but you can't compete with countries where companies can pay a only fraction of even our minimum wage. I don't specifically blame Van Heusen, as everybody else has done it, too. I would gladly pay more for this shirt if it were still American made, but that ship has long since sailed, for fabric/textile products and a whole slew of other things we used to make in America. That aside, I like this shirt and recommend it if you need a good, relatively inexpensive dress shirt for your office. Five stars.

The ‘no wrinkle’ shirts can’t be 100% cotton too bad although it is still very neat and comfortable.
