This shovel is heavier than other shovels I purchased in the past. The circular handle is an awesome feature. The blades cut into the grass and dirt with such ease. I highly recommend this shovel to anyone that wants a high quality shovel at an affordable price.

I was looking for a more specialized digger for metal detector outings and was going to opt for a more expensive one, I settled on this one instead. I’m glad I did. It is the perfect size, durable, and gets through tough soil and roots quite well. I use it now in my garden and yard regularly as well. Solid product.

This is a solid, well-built tool. I analyzed almost 2 dozen different edging/trenching type of shovels like this. I’m so glad I decided on this one. Here’s one reason why, that I didn’t even know until I read the literature included: “The special V-shaped cutting tip makes digging easier and ensures you don’t slip if you hit a root.” I never even thought of that! I was torn between a standard pointed cutting tip and one like this V shaped and I’m so glad I went with this. If I could give 6 stars for the packaging, I would. The box is sturdy. The shovel head is well, well protected. It comes completely assembled. Thank you for packing this so well to make it to me with absolutely no issues.

I was hesitant to buy the metal detecting version for metal detecting because I thought I wanted the round handle. But I saw enough reviews mentioning the metal detecting version being good for metal detecting so I went with it. What I didn't realize is the handle and the angled shovel are fantastic for standing in one spot and digging a round hole. The handle basically stays over the center of the plug as you turn it around, and the foot piece is perfect for pressure to dig. And as others have stated, it digs very easily. Even in hard dry ground, it pulls out a plug with ease. While walking I use a belt magnet that the handle attaches to nicely. But it's also light enough to carry, or even drag behind you with a finger through the hole. Great shovel, highly recommend.

I am a hardcore gardener that has been working hard transforming a heavily wooded lot into a lawn free yard filled with thousands of perennials, shrubs and ornamental trees so I need good working tools. I wanted a heavy duty shovel that could get through hard clay, rocky soil and random old, thick roots. I like the shape of the shorter shovel, but I wanted a longer handle so I got this one that has the cut out at the top of the shovel and serrated edges. I’m not sure I like that cut out as much as a sharp single point to get the shovel into the ground, but it gets the job done. The shovel head is thick and sturdy, and heavy. I do like that. That being said, the heavy head and the heavy long handle does make this shovel quite heavier than most other shovels I’ve used. If you don’t have a lot of upper body strength, be aware that this will feel like a work out. Overall this is a good quality tool, and I would buy more from this brand.

Makes shoveling in the yard SO much easier. Cuts through roots really well. I couldn’t believe how well it worked.

I can't say how much I love this shovel let me tell you I ONLY use it to shovel snow not for its intended gardening purposes. So it's hard to explain but the size and shape of the blade makes it FANTASTIC for digging out your car when the plow boxes it in, it cuts like a knife to get the icy hard snow it is awesome. Also getting snow out from the sides of your tires is just fantastic, and one last thing it's almost impossible to throw out your back because the blade doesn't hold much snow but that's not how you should use it (lifting) I use it for chopping and pulling it's the best for getting a car out and it fits in the trunk. I also used it once on a beach to get a guy out it worked well same method on sand as in snow!

Produkt war sehr gut verpackt, und ohne Mängel. Verarbeitung sehr stabil, Einsatz im Garten einfach super. Macht genau dass was er soll, sogar Bambus Rizome können problemlos gekappt werden.

After reading reviews I was a little concerned about the weight. The item does have some weight to it, but is sturdy. As its for digging & chopping out roots it does need to be good quality with some weight to it. Only used twice so far & it's great. Cuts through general roots really well. You obviously have to put some effort in to cutting thicker roots. Works really well. Value for money, will get more items from this range.

This is a game changer dealing with difficult soils with lots of roots. Bought a popular brand first and it broke less than a week. This one i have been abusing for months now an still fantastic.
