very good flashlight for the $12 price
I like the sturdy mostly metal construction. I like the 2 separate on/off buttons for the wide and narrow beams, so I get what I want without having to click through different modes. I like that the not-very-useful burst and strobe modes are hidden behind double-click and long-press actions so I never accidentally see those modes. I like that the flashlight recharges with USB-C, even the same cable and wall charger that I use for my smartphone, which don't work with most flashlights. The light output is very good for a compact flashlight. It isn't super-bright except in burst mode and that only works for half a minute at a time because of overheating issues, so I rarely find it useful in real life. No complaints at the $12 price that I paid to Amazon. 5 stars.

Works good
This is a small flashlight that will fit in a coat pocket but is good and bright. We live in the country so after dark a light is needed to walk around, especially if you are carrying a baby. A small lightweight flashlight easy to hold is important and this does the trick. Rechargeable is important too. No more batteries.

Nice little light with a quirky UI
For the discounted price, this is a good deal for a fairly bright flashlight. Being flat is cool, and having two buttons makes it easy to select the flood vs throw LED. The metal body feels well made, no idea how to open it up to see what sort of batteries are in there. USB-C charging is good. The light temperature is very nicely warm-white while not too yellow, I'd guess around 3500K. There are a number of issues with the UI that would bother me if the light was more expensive... 1) Most current flashlights adhere to double-click -> boost, and long-press -> moonlight. This one, long pressing invokes the "boost" mode with both LEDs at full power, while double-clicking makes it blink. Not a big deal if this is your only or most used flashlight, but if you have like 20 different ones in the drawer remembering each one is difficult. 2) Each LED circles through a med-high-low setting. So if you want to use low, you always have to press at least 3 times. Most flashlights nowadays remember the last used setting, this one does not. There is no very low brightness "moonlight" setting. 3) While there are two buttons that should enable us to use both LEDs (spot and flood) concurrently, apart from the "boost" setting this is not possible. If you have one side lit, pressing the other button turns that one off. Not a big deal but somewhat limiting. 4) While having a spot and a flood LED is fantastic, the spot-side is rather floody, so it's a bit hard to tell which one is being used. A nice, narrow, well-defined spot would really elevate this to a higher level. 5) Long-pressing either button turns on both LEDs at full power, but if you turn that off and want to boost again you only get 3 red flashes from the buttons. This happens independently from the time the boost function was on, that is, even if you have it turned on only one second, you won't be able to get back into boost for some lockout period (not sure, maybe a minute?). This isn't temperature protection, just quirky UI programming. 6) Besides the UI issued mentioned, another odd thing is that there is absolutely no user manual. Even a small piece of paper explaining the various settings would be appreciated. The fancy-ish carton does not help. All that said, for the twelve something when discounted this is a good light, for 40 you can do better.

Durable Powerful Inexpensive Flashlight
This is a great flashlight. It starts in the brightest setting rather than the lowest, it doesn’t feel cheap like so many other options it feels durable, yet it’s a good price. I wish they’d put a little bump on the spot light button though. I find myself feeling around trying to figure out which button I’m touching since they feel the same.

Good EDC light
Well worth the price for a cheap EDC light. Fits in a pocket well, fairly lightweight, bright and holds battery well.

Good flashlight at a good price. No need to spend big bucks on an expensive tactical flashlight. It is rechargeable with type C usb. Has clip making it easy to pocket carry. Plenty bright enough.
