Lexar D40E 256GB Dual USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C Jump Drive, USB-C Flash Metal Housing Swivel Design Thumb Drive (Champagne Silver)

Got this for my Galaxy S25 Ultra. Using it to save videos and free up space on my phone. Tranfers are very easy and quick. The speed is phenomenal and it doesn't heat up like I expected. Easy to carry around and use plus I like that I can easily upload what's on there to my storage drive or computer. At first I didn't think was compatible with my phone but I was gladly surprised once I got it working. Performs very well and I like the overall protection of having to safely eject it before detaching it from my phone. Also happy with the amount of storage it offers. Got it on a slight sale but even the regular price is worth the purchase and I'm a longtime fan of the brand.

It works pretty good! Have a good compatibility with a Galaxy S25 Ultra, is super easy to install, it have a small size, obviusly is a Type C memory, I didn't feel any heat level, and the speed is good, obviusly it will depend of all the files that you are moving

It is very easy to use. Just plug it in and it works. The speed was fast and my phone works good with it. good value for the money.

Only complaint i have about these is there is no dust cover for the connectors. Fyi: These have ~230gb available to use. It took about 45min to completely fill the drive from empty. Plenty fast for me. If they sold these in larger memory sizes i would buy those instead. Usb c & usb a is very nice. Lets you transfer files between phone and pc without needing wireless.

This was JUST the ticket for heaving multiple plug types for different devices. Crazy high quality and feels really solid and fine.

This made it so easy to transfer photos and videos off my phone to clear up space. It connects quickly and works smoothly with both USB-C and regular USB. Super convenient and very useful!

This jump drive is superb. Solidy built, looks nice, and Lexar's app is extremely easy to use. Just plug the drive into your phone, open the app, a couple of taps to select the drive, and it does the rest. It took about 3 minutes to backup over 1100 photos from my phone to the drive, using about 11GB of available memory. You can find cheaper ones, but for about $30, this is a winner that you know will work since it's made by Lexar.

While the drive reads and writes quickly and without issue, the swivel mechanism feels really gritty and cheap. It's loud, loose, and feels like there's debris stuck in it the moment you pull it out of the box. No matter how careful you try and take care of it, nothing makes this grittiness go away and you're just stuck dealing with the icky feeling when going from USB C to A and vise versa. Additionally, while using the swivel, it squeaks. Not even a quiet squeak either, it's loud and annoying every time. Otherwise, heat isn't much of an issue, even under load it stays relatively cool. For the price, it gets the job done however I would really appreciate a bump in quality.

Good quality USB drive, nice brushed metal finish, feels solid and does what it should. My old drive kept losing connection when transferring large files (despite reformatting etc), but this one worked fine. Mainly used for transferring files to Steam Deck - The USB-C connector made this much easier. Good speeds, no issues, would recommend.

Su aspecto es bastante sólido, grande y construido totalmente en metal y pudiéndose formatear en varios sistemas. Su doble conexión nos ayuda a la hora de transferir archivos entre ordenadores, móviles, tablets, TVs etc. Lo único que añadiría y echo en falta es algún tipo de capuchón porque uno de los conectores siempre queda fuera del soporte en forma de “U”, por lo demás nada que objetar.

rien a dire je suis content de mon achat et facile d'utilisation et son deux en un facilite pour l'écoute soit chez soi ou dans les voitures modernes qui on déjà le port C donc bien pratique

This product is absolutely amazing. It is really really good quality. The USB drive itself has pretty much all metal. And I really like how it has the USB a side and the USB type c side. And it's fast. More than fast enough for what I need it for. Really good quality products as expected from lexar. Can't beat it for the price!
