Why is this in the international market when it is produced in California?

The markets products are placed in refer to the cuisine type, not the geography of where they are produced. In the 1800's, products produced in certain localities took on the character of the place, but in the 21st century, you can have Italian sauces made in China, and Chinese sauces made in France. In this case, we have a Vietnamese sauce made in California.
