Omron arm cuff blood pressure monitor arrived quickly in good shape. Installed 4 AA batteries and used immediately. Blood pressure is consistent with a wrist cuff used 5 minutes later. WOULD HAVE GIVEN THIS 5 STARS BUT THE AC ADAPTER IS NOT INCLUDED, SO I'LL HAVE TO BUY ONE TO KEEP EXTRA IN CASE AA BATTERIES GET WEAK. I can see why AA batteries aren't included because of the expiration dates on batteries, but an AC adapter that is specific to that monitor should be included for a few extra dollars. So, anyone else buying this particular Omron model, be aware no AC adapter included. If Omron or the distributor doesn't include the AC adapter in the kit, why have an AC adapter hole on the top of the monitor? Maybe the AC adapter comes with a more expensive Omron kit?, but not the one I purchased.

Simple and reliable to use. There are a hundred reasons to have one of these in the house along with a blood oxygen monitor. Runs on batteries. More reliable than the wrist variety in my experience.

As my doctor advised, I had to purchase a blood pressure cuff thing because my BP is waaaay too high.I'm not a medical professional, I don't know how to work the ones that aren't digital. The market has quite a few of these to choose from and I'll admit, I chose this one because it looked the best and the size of the arm cuff.I'm a chubby (but strong) girl so my arms are a bit larger. I needed something that would fit and get an accurate reading for my daily log.Received it and I think it was easy to set up (my husband opened the box) and was able to use it after putting AA batteries in. It's well made, easy to move from the dining table to my office and then the bedroom because I have ADD and things can't just stay in one place.It takes accurate readings (at least I assume so because they're pretty on par with my doctors office readings) and really, really easy to figure out.You put the cuff on per the directions, push a button and it gets to work!If you need one, I would recommend this one...

Best BP monitor; replaced my old Omron that I had for many years. Very simple, no WiFi needed, no memories stored, no AI voice to deal with. I put on the cuff, take my BP and it's a done deal. Period. Accuracy is a given with Moron.Was glad this simplistic model uses the electrical cord from my old model.Keeping track of my BP lets me gage how my BP will compare with the doctor 's office BP reading; my readings are more accurate than their's: it eliminates the white coat syndrome and I can honestly relay that to my doctor.
