These intercoms (6pk) has been a game changer. It was challenging communicating without cell phone in our 3 story house. Now an intercom is placed in select areas such as the basement, office, great room and master bedroom. If you are in one of these rooms you can easily call someone in another part of the house by pressing a single number (which is assigned to that room being called) and the green "call" button. The intercom rings in the room being called. Once someone answers you can begin to talk. It's that simple. No static nor sound distortions. Clear signals. Excellent quality and function. Works well:So tired of my wife and daughter screaming down the hall or up the stairs, this things a life saver. Best 100 bucks I ever spent. Auto answer is great cause you don't have to ever touch it. If your called you just speak and never have to touch the thing.Such a more civilised way to tell the kids breakfast is ready than the daily screeching howl from the kitchen.

Does what I need, but sometimes picks up a lot of interference and drives the dog crazy!

Bought for our 2 story home to call in on the kids when they won't answer their phones.Great connection even in a larger, 2 story, solid concrete house. I love that you can choose an auto answer option individually (the kids comms auto answer after 2 rings, the one in my room has to be manually answered). Easy set up with detailed instructions.

These do work. However, there is static/interference when using them. They don't work for us as there are people with sound sensitivities in our home. They weren't able to deal with it.
