Great Little MP3 Player, Outshines Others That I've Tried
I've ordered a few stand alone MP3 players from time to time for a variety of reasons. I play in a band, and we needed something (besides our phones) that we could use a bluetooth receiver with that would send a playlist to the board. The first player that I used was a bit robust (heavy and super durable). I then thought 'you know, I'd like to have something like this that is much smaller to ONLY play music so I don't have to lug my phone around and stream music when taking walks or going to the gym. I ordered 2 others (from a different unknown companies) that were smaller, but only played the audio on one earbud (even though both ear buds were connected). Weird. So I gave up, and carried my phone. That is, until I came across this device.Initially, I was into it because of the size. The smaller, the better for my needs. 64 gigabyte is more than enough storage, and if it performed like the others then I wasn't out a whole lot of money. As soon as it arrived, I tested it through my earbuds and VOILA, it streams music through both ear buds (finally). So far, so good. I took the micro SD card that held my music from another player and put it a slot in my computer to transfer the music. It's maybe half of the storage, and it took quite a bit of time to transfer (like a pretty long time). Not a big deal, set it and forget it. The music transferred successfully and charging didn't take long since the battery was pretty full.I've been using this nearly every day for a short while, and I'm extremely happy with it. The controls work really well, everything on it makes sense (the layout is user friendly), and the controls that use the touch screen (return, back, forward) all work as they should. Scrolling through the menu is simple, it's very easy to set up (time and date). Audio quality is perfect for my needs and there is nothing weird about it. I keep it in my pocket, but I have no issues with the device staying connected to my earbuds. I did, however experience some very odd interference when using an eGym (at the YMCA) machine, there were some glitchy things happening. It only happened once, and I am assuming that the signal being put out by the machine was pretty strong and causing this. I moved the device from my shirt pocket to my pants pocket and it went away. All in all, this thing is designed very well. Time will tell how long it will last, and I'm hopping that it will for a very, very long time.Regarding battery life, I did have a bit of experience with accidently leaving the device on and recording for a full day (oops!). Maybe even 2 days, not sure, but it was well over 24 hours. There was still battery, but it wasn't much. I don't need it for the audio recording portion, so I'll have to be careful not to engage that option. I'm happy with this device, it was money well spent and suits my needs. One word of caution, the screen is quite easy to scratch, I wish that this was more resistant to scratches. That would make this little player quite phenomenal!

Amazing USB/C Player/Audio Recorder
MP3 REVIEW 4:GREAT SIMPLE EASY TO USE MP3 PLAYER/AUDIO RECORDING DEVICE.OVERALL THIS IS AN EXCELLENT TYPE-C/USB MP3 PLAYER/AUDIO RECORDING DEVICE WITH BLUETOOTH CAPABILITIES. IT COMES WITH A BUILT IN CLIP, MAKING IT EASY TO ATTACH TO YOUR CLOTHES. IT IS RELATIVELY SMALL WITH A COMBINATION OF HARD AND SOFT BUTTONS MAKING IT PRETTY EASY TO NAVIGATE THROUGH IT'S LITTLE DISPLAY SCREEN.1) BODY(PLASTIC):- 3.5MM A BUILT-IN HEADPHONE JACK, WHICH I PREFER BECAUSE IT MAKES THE BATTERY LAST LONGER.- 3 HARD BUTTONS: VOLUME UP, VOLUME DOWN, AND POWER BUTTON WHICH CAN ALSO BE USED TO TURN OFF/LOCK THE DISPLAY SCREEN.- BUILT IN TYPE-C CONNECTOR WITH A COVER THAT ATTACHES MAGNETICALLY AND SECURELY: COMES WITH A TYPE-C TO USB ADAPTER CABLE. YOU CAN CONNECT IT TO YOUR PHONE AS WELL AS TO YOUR WINDOWS COMPUTER TO TRANSFER MUSIC. (I HAVE A SAMSUNG S22 ULTRA)- AUDIO RECORD SWITCH ON THE SIDE - MAKES IT SUPER EASY TO START/STOP RECORDING AUDIO.2) SOFT BUTTONS:- MENU- FAST FORWARD- REWIND- RED DOT - PLAY/SELECT/START/STOP- THE BUTTONS WORK WELL, BUT IF YOU HAVE LARGE FINGERS, YOU MAY FIND YOURSELF ACCIDENTALLY SELECTING THE WRONG BUTTON.3) MUSIC PLAYER:- PRETTY STANDARD FOR MUSIC PLAYERS: I PERSONALLY USE THE FOLDERS APP TO ACCESS AND PLAY MY MUSIC. THIS MAKES IT EASY TO ORGANIZE YOUR MUSIC HOWEVER YOU WANT. (FILES AND FOLDERS MUST BE NAMED AND ORGANIZED PRIOR TO UPLOADING TO THE PLAYER, BECAUSE THERE IS NO WAY TO EDIT FILE NAMES ON THE PLAYER ITSELF).- EQUALIZER - WORKS GOOD- LAST PLAYED - PLAYS YOUR LAST PLAYED SONG WHICH IS COOL FEATURE- BOOKMARK - CAN BOOKMARK A POINT IN A SONG AND EASILY GO BACK TO IT.- PLAYBACK MODES: PLAY IN ORDER, REPEAT ALL, SHUFFLE, REPEAT 1VARIABLE PLAY SPEED - HAVE THE SONG PLAY SLOWER OR FASTER- A - B REPEAT: MODE THAT ALLOWS YOU TO SELECT A START POINT(A) AND AN ENDPOINT(B) IN A SONG (SHORT PRESS THE FAST-FORWARD BUTTON TO SET A AND B) AND HAVE THAT SECTION OF THE SONG "REPLAY TIMES" UP TO 10 TIMES WITH AN "REPLAY INTERVAL" PAUSE TIME UP TO 10 SECONDS BETWEEN EACH REPLAY.- VOLUME LIMIT(IS LOCATED SETTINGS APP): YOU CAN SET A LIMIT TO THE VOLUME.- PLAYLIST: YOU CAN ADD SONGS TO A PLAYLIST.A) 3 PLAYLIST SLOTSB) PLAYLIST NAMES ARE: 'PLAYLIST 1', 'PLAYLIST 2', 'PLAYLIST 3'C) PLAYLIST NAMES CAN'T BE CHANGED- VOLUME: GETS PRETTY LOUD, WHICH IS GREAT.4) AUDIO RECORDING: THE BUILT IN MIC ACTUALLY WORKS PRETTY GOOD WITH OPTIONS TO SAVE AUDIO AS MP3 OR WAV FORMAT AT DIFFERENT BIT RATES. START/STOPPING/SAVING AN AUDIO FILE CAN ALL BE EASILY DONE WITH THE HARD SWITCH ON THE SIDE OF THE DEVICE. I THINK THIS FEATURE IS GREAT IF YOU NEED A DEVICE TO QUICKLY RECORD AUDIO FOR MEETINGS OR CLASSES.5) BLUETOOTH: PAIRS QUICKLY AND EASILY WITH MY HEADPHONES. RANGE IS PRETTY IMPRESSIVE: I STILL HAD SEAMLESS CONNECTION WITH THE MP3 PLAYER UPSTAIRS IN A BEDROOM AND ME BEING DOWNSTAIRS. IF I WENT INTO A ROOM DOWNSTAIRS AND CLOSED THE DOOR, IT STILL WORKED, BUT WOULD CUT IN AND OUT EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE, BUT THAT'S TO BE EXPECTED.6) RADIO (NEEDS WIRED HEADPHONES TO WORK): WORKS PRETTY GOOD. EASY TO AUTO TUNE AND SET STATION PRESETS(30 AVAILABLE PRESET SLOTS). USE THE RED DOT SOFT BUTTON TO SCAN THROUGH YOUR PRESET STATIONS. USE THE FAST-FORWARD/REWIND SOFT BUTTONS TO MANUALLY SEARCH FOR A STATION.7) PEDOMETER: ANOTHER GREAT FEATURE AND EASY TO USE.- STORED HISTORY DATA IS DISPLAYED IS AS FOLLOWS:DATE: YYYY-MM-DDSTART: 24HR TIME - HH:MM:SSEND: 24HR TIME - HH:MM:SSSTEP NUM: STEP COUNTDISTANCE: DISTANCE WALKED IN METERS- 7 SLOTS TO STORE STEP DATA: "HISTORY 1", "HISTORY 2", "HISTORY 3", . . ."HISTORY 7" THE NAMES OF EACH SLOT ARE UNCHANGEABLE. AND THE START AND END TIME FORMATS ARE UNCHANGEABLE(24HR)- NO WAY TO OVERWRITE A SPECIFIC HISTORY SLOT- THERE IS A 5 SECOND HISTORY DISPLAY TIMER. I HAVE FOUND THAT THE PLAYER WILL BACK ME OUT OF VIEWING A HISTORY SLOT BEFORE I AM DONE REVIEWING AND ANALYZING THE DATA/INFORMATION. NOT TOO BIG OF A DEAL, BUT CAN BE A LITTLE ANNOYING. *** UPDATE: They have a firmware update that resolves this issue. ***8) 'POWER OFF' SETTINGS:- SLEEP TIMERS - AUTO TURNS OFF THE PLAYER AFTER A SET AMOUNT OF TIME WHETHER MUSIC IS PLAYING OR NOT. THE IDEA IS THAT YOU CAN HAVE MUSIC PLAYING TO HELP YOU SLEEP AND HAVE IT SHUT OFF AFTER A SET AMOUNT OF TIME.- SCHEDULE SHUTDOWN - AUTO TURNS OFF PLAYER WHEN NOT IN USE AFTER A SET TIME

Seems to be a great IPOD Nano replacement, but time will tell
This mp3 player is replacing an early Apple Nano that lasted 20+ years until the battery capacity went to only playing 3 songs on a full charge. On the plus side it served my wife for a long time. For the negative, I hated that the Nano needed third party software on Linux or Windoze to load songs.I thought that my wife would benefit from a new player with bluetooth so she could use the wireless earbuds that I bought a couple years ago. They are similar to this link: https://www.amazon.com/Bluetooth-Headphones-Cancelling-Waterproof-Earphones/dp/B0DC95VBG5/. Anyway, I got the earbuds to pair with the player using the Mp3 player's instructions, but it then lost pairing when both the buds and player were shut off. To fix pairing issues you need to know how to get out of any screen. Unless I missed it, it wasn't covered in the instructions. I found that to escape the sub-menus, you need to hit or hit again the button below the center red dot. For me, it only takes two taps to get the main menu up. The main menu shows Music, Settings, Bluetooth, Etc. Select Bluetooth and select enable Bluetooth. You should hear "connected" in your earbuds and then hit the bottom button again which will take you to the main menu. Choose Music, then the red button, then the red button again. You should be hearing your music. It took me about a half hour to figure this out as a 70+ year old, so you young people should solve this in minutes, right?I would give this player a 5 for how impressed I am with it now, but I am from an age where we expected purchases to last - like the Nano which played music for more than 20 years, so I will give it a 4. That is high praise from me.Thanks for reading this.
