I abandoned Apple years ago, but the M1 chip convinced me to give it another chance. The M4 is even better. I upgraded from the 16-inch M1 to the M4, and while it’s more portable, the 16-inch has a better screen real estate and sound.As expected from an M SOC Mac, it’s great. The build quality is excellent, with every detail nicely crafted. The screen, though not OLED, is great and better than most laptops.Performance is excellent, with great memory management. I can run many applications and heavy software development tools without high memory pressure. It does all this while on battery, which is incredible. You won’t get this with heavy video editing, but it’s still great performance and more battery life than any other notebook.The keyboard is comfortable to type with good key travel, and the touchpad is one of the few in the industry that’s usable.However, it’s an expensive laptop, and there’s no competition that offers the same at a lower price.

Apple silicon is the best thing to happen to the Mac since 1984. It’s speedy and handles everything I throw at it with ease. The fans hardly ever engage, only when running more complex processes. Battery is great, again an Apple silicon benefit. I easily get two or three days of use when just browsing. The screen size is good, the device feels premium. Can’t go wrong really. Definitely a pro device

The Apple MacBook Pro M4 Pro (2024) is an excellent laptop with a sturdy build quality that will last for many years. I purchased the 12-Core CPU and 16-Core GPU variant with 14" screen and 512GB SDD, and I am very pleased with the specification. It can handle high-end tasks really well, even on apps originally intended for Intel-based MACs which now run on Apple silicon through their own emulation tool called Rosetta (all built in, no setup required). The battery has a great life and lasts for the majority of the day, dependant on the tasks you are doing. If you regularly keep the device connected to the mains power, it learns this and starts to only use the mains instead of constantly charging the battery; this prolongs the life of the battery capacity. The screen is clear and bright and clearly shows the quality of this Apple product. For anyone looking for a laptop alongside links to other Apple devices such as iPhone and Watch, I highly recommend this item.

The last MacBook Pro that I bought was way back in 2012 which has served me well and still continues to do so. The only issue is that software vendors no longer support that model. So I took the plunge and bought this one. The difference is immense. Like going from the red flag act to warp speed. Tasks run lightening fast, battery life is incredible and the sound quality is deafening. I have had zero issues with this, everything runs exactly as it should and the transition from the old MacBook to the new was faultless. No issues with Apple Pay, iCloud or App Store. I’ve had this for a few months now so I’m comfortable writing this review. There are too many new features to list. Just go for it. Brilliant.

great macbook, looks exactly the same as it would be if you bought it from apple website, just £200 cheaper.for what i do, its been doing everything i need it to, great performance. of course, it will have a slight weight but come on, youre paying 2k for a macbook, weight doesnt matter, its perfect. as i have used it for around a month the battery capacity and life wouldnt have changed. though, i think that the life will be great as it hasnt dropped 1 percent yet.

Delivery was rapid, and the price for a 1tb base m4 was almost the same price as the 512gb at the Apple Store so that was excellent value. The laptop itself is brilliant, amazing screen, very snappy. I can imagine this lasting me a good few years. The screen size is just right. As always the build quality is premium like most Apple products.

While the best laptop I saw. Moved to him from macbook 2020. The screen is like just 1 inch wider, but it is much more on the feeling. Convenient keys and as always brilliant tuchpad. With performance everything is simple - neural network, which was rooted on the old laptop 5-6 hours, on this studied in 30 minutes. Incredible indicators!

Laptop works fine, won't let me add card details for the app store. . .gone to apple store, the laptop needs to be wiped and "OS system" needs to be reinstalled. . .apparently it's a common problem with macs that are not bought directly from Apple. . Or so the Apple "genius" tells me
