Wonderful cookbook
This fresh milled flour cookbook is amazing. If you are looking for a basic starter cookbook with basic everyday recipes, this is definitely the cookbook for you when starting to mill your own flour. Directions are in a nice bigger print, very clear and there’s even a QR code on every recipe that you can go and watch her video for help. There is even a picture for each recipe.

Excellent book
I am so happy to have discovered this cookbook for freshly milled flour recipes. I first discovered Kara on You Tube and she is amazing. This book includes recipes for breads, cakes, cookies, biscuits, crackers, puff pastry, pancakes, desserts, pizza dough, tortillas, donuts, etc. The ingredients for each recipe have the amount in grams as well. It is a well written book with clear explanations and pictures for each recipe.

Very informative book
This is a very nice book. The recipes are great, the pages a colorful with good sized pictures. If one is new to baking breads, cookies, or cakes with fresh milled flour, this book is a must. Fresh milled flour can be a bit difficult to bake with when one first starts using it. This book really helps with the baking process so that your foods come out delicious as expected! I would definitely recommend!

Excellent book. Don’t look for another one.
I bought all the books on amazon related to fresh milled flour and yours by far is the best! Simple to follow, has pictures, option to find your YouTube tutorial and best of all, the recepies taste so amazing. Thank you so much for writing this book!

Fresh Milled Flour Cookbook at its Best!
This cookbook addresses the baker who is milling their own wheat for flour. Kara has worked wonders with this cookbook! I got it two days ago and I've already used it twice! There are pictures for the recipes as well as QR codes to take you to a video or to tips for each specific recipe!Kara is the moderator for a Facebook group, has a YouTube Channel, and a website - all devoted to fresh milled flour. I've been using her information for more than a year (since I found her video on YouTube!) and haven't had any problems with any of her recipes! She is an excellent teacher and works to help anyone with using fresh milled flour. She has worked so hard to turn "regular" recipes into ones we can use with fresh milled flour. I always know that if its a recipe from Grains In Small Places, it will be good. This cookbook will be used for years in my house and I have another ordered for a Christmas present for my granddaughter who also loves to bake!I have been buying cookbooks that claim to be for fresh milled flour since I got my mill two years ago. This is the first that is completely useful! It is all recipes! And recipes for fresh milled flour - not "whole wheat" flour. There is a difference and some of the cookbooks I've gotten don't seem to know that.Thank you, Kara, for an amazing resource!

Great recipes and big pictures
Nice big pictures for every recipe.All the recipes I've tried turn out great.Recipes are easy to follow. I'm baking with toddlers so that's important.The yeast donuts are dangerously delicious.

A dream for fresh milled flour bakers
This cookbook is fantastic. I’ve been using fresh milled flour for years and am so glad I finally found this book. Finally, fluffy, delicious, whole grain recipes that actually taste good. The recipes can also be found on her website, but I got tired of printing them and wanted them all in one place. This cookbook does not have a lot of fluff. There is a small intro to grains and then a bunch of great recipes without filler stories.

Excellent Cookbook for Fresh Milled Flour
I highly recommend this cookbook for anyone who wants recipes for fresh milled flour. There is a recipe for pretty much everything from Naan bread to graham crackers! There's even a small section for sourdough recipes. I love the writing style, it's like she's talking to you. There are tips and notes and excellent pictures for every recipe. The best part is that each recipe has a QR code that directs you to her YouTube page where you can watch and follow along making the recipe with her. So far, I have made biscuits, naan, and sourdough chocolate chip cookies. They have all turned out great but the sourdough chocolate chip cookies are AMAZING!
