My "regular" USB port stopped working on my laptop rendering my keyboard/mouse dongle useless. This plugs into the USB-C port and now I am back in business

Great if te RJ45 had worked
I'm looking to replace my docking station dongle because I need extra USBC and USB ports.I checked to see if my MacBook Pro 13-inch M1 (2020) was in the black list, and it was good, specially since it has two Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) ports.I just tried to replace my old dongle and:PD port worked - I have powerUSB port worked for my Microphone and lampUSBC port did not work for my monitor, and this one I'm okay with it since I could use the 2nd Thunderbolt 3 from my MAC, but it would have been amazing if I could use one of the dongle ports (no, I don't want to use one of the HDMI ports - don't even know where that cable is anymore).RJ45 port did not work with my Cat 8 Ethernet Cable (VOIETOLT brand) - if this had worked, I would have kept the item.Unfortunately I have to send it back and keep looking for a new docking stations with additional ports.

Best little travel docking station ever, 3 monitors, 3 USBA, 3 USBC, card reader, network, and audio
I absolutely love this little travel docking station especially for home/office works who spends time in both places. I've got everything I need everywhere with me. Works great on vacations with reading SD cards from my camera for picture backups etc. The ports are FAST and probably 10Gps, but I don't have any equipment to benchmark it... but no lags for the monitor, no lags on USBC, and using another extra USBA port running USBC protocol with external monitor at 1080p60FPS... no lags at all. SD card file transfer is FAST and same speed as my built-in laptop reader. And yes the power delivery works great...just ONE USBC port gives power and all the connectivity... charging my laptop with a 65watt brick works fine.
