The media could not be loaded. I bought this mat to place on the tiles just inside the external conservatory door. I chose the anthracite 40 cm by 60 cm from the several options available.It arrived rolled up with sticky tape, and when opened out, it didn’t lie flat, which concerned me. After leaving it overnight, a couple of creases still remained. To help it flatten, I placed it on the floor in front of the living room fire, and after another day or so, it settled perfectly flat. Phew. A helpful tip: be patient for a couple of days, as it needs time to flatten down 😉The underside has a textured rubber surface for its non-slip effect. I tested it (see video above) by wiping my feet on it quite vigorously, and it clung to the floor very well, although this could depend on the type of floor surface it’s placed on. As for trip hazard safety, it is excellent. The rubber edges are tapered, so there is practically no lip to catch on. I deliberately scuffed the toes of my shoes across its edge, and my shoes just slid across it without snagging.My conservatory opens outward, but if you're planning to place the mat under an inward-opening door, I tested it under my garage back door for clearance (see photo above). There is a gap of roughly half an inch (12 mm) between the door’s bottom edge and the floor, and it cleared easily without brushing its surface at all, so this mat could be a suitable choice for that type of position.The top surface is short but reasonably soft and feels sturdy, effectively cleaning the soles of my shoes when I come in from the garden.The quality is what I hoped for; I found no imperfections upon arrival, and it feels tough, waterproof, and durable. All good so far.- Pros:• Reasonable price; good value for money.• Neat and smart appearance.• Durable; looks almost new after five months.• Versatile, practical thickness allows opening doors to clear easily.• Machine and hose washable for easy cleaning.• Good slip & trip resistance.- Cons:• Required a couple of days to flatten before use.• The thin pile, versus coir type, may not suit everyone unless door clearance is a consideration.After using this mat regularly for five months, it still looks pretty much as good as the day it arrived, so it’s five stars from me.I hope you found this review helpful.

Its heavy-duty, non-slippery rubber material does an excellent job of grabbing dirt and debris, and the anthracite color looks stylish. The 40cm x 60cm size is perfect for most doorways. My only minor issue is that it can be a bit difficult to fully clean in the grooves, but overall, it’s durable and effective. A solid pick for keeping your floors clean.

Bought this mat for my conservatory and I’m highly delighted with it! Doesn’t slip, easy to Hoover or brush. Spills easy to wipe. I have two dogs who come and go via this entrance. Puppy mishaps easy to mop up. Wished I’d seen this 3 rugs ago! 🥴.

The mat itself is good enough but the colour is nothing like as shown in the listing. I ordered brown and, while it may have a slight brownish tinge in the right light, it's more black.

Great mat. Easy to clean. I have been using it for a couple of months and it has not lost its form or colour.

I was worried that by going for one of the cheaper options would mean a lack of quality or that they would feel rough under foot. This wasn’t the case, they’re surprisingly soft considering and they are quite flat with no rubber lip around them like some do. They are pretty low profile and are definitely non slip. So far so good. They seem easy to clean and don’t get caught on the bottom of the front/back door which was another of my concerns. They are definitely absorbent and do seem to limit the amount of muddy footprints in my kitchen after a wet dog walk and are nice to stand on and feel soft and comfortable barefoot. I ordered two sizes, one to go under the dogs’ water bowl - which it has definitely stopped water getting on the floor when they drink, and one for the inside of the doors and they do the job well and look nice too.
