America: A Narrative History

Simple history not confusing but makes you think about history in a new and intriguing way
simple. chapters divided by eras of time sections in the chapter follow time line obviously giving you a brief history on the section averaging a page in length or shorter. Chapter review at the end could be more useful as it really just picked out 4-5 major words or events and gave a vague description of what the subsection or even might be about. The book a bit beat up when it arrived hard to tote it around without worrying id destroy it. The flow of chapters follows timeline and it suggests thinking a lot on what the impact was and how it changed the events that happened next . I liked that the dates were not what the book revolved around .

Great Book just Expensive
I bought this book for my history class and it was a bit expensive. Overall, it contained good material but I barely used it...and I can’t get my money back.

Good for my history class
This has every page and all and is usable except for it being in decent, slightly torn condition.

Failed the class, book was great though
Had to use this book for a college class I took.Unfortunately, I didn't pass the class but that was my own fault.I retained alot of the valuable information and find myself referencing it often.

The book was brand new, but it came shrink-wrapped ...
The book was brand new, but it came shrink-wrapped with a sticker saying "Not returnable if shrink wrap is broken" (I rented the textbook), making it impossible to use without opening it. I had to obviously break the shrink wrap to use it and now I have to pay $50 more than I originally planned.

Rental textbook
Good rental textbook but it was missing a page. Which I was lucky I didn't need.
